just finishes Season 01 of Succession. Absolutely amazing writing paired with incredible acting & casting. If youlike Billions / House of Cards / or anything by Jesse Armstong you'll definetly love this!

Better Call Saul is really good. It's multi-layered in the sense that it's got multiple story arcs and themes going on. Hasn't reached the epicness of Breaking Bad yet, but as spinoffs go, it's doing quite well.

Colony is more of a mixed bag. It's a sci-fi dystopia, but doesn't feel like it. As someone who has seen 3%, Fringe and The Man in The High Castle and navigated the sheer darkness that surround these shows, Colony doesn't quite match up. I'm not saying it's bad, not at all, only that it works better as a post-apocalypse survival-themed show more than a dystopian sci-fi. It's where it truly shines.

Bodyguard

It's basically a reimagined Condor. Ba God! The plot sensationalism emanating from the primary plot line reeks to high heavens. Maybe I'm cynical, but wit-wise, shows like Bodyguard don't stimulate me at all, for I can see some "unexpected" twists coming a mile away. The over dramatization variable is directly proportional to shock and awe's, hence, the shock and awe variable is the product of the over dramatization variable, and a constant. Suffice to say, it's a bland show, and inferior to the slow burn, intelligently written and hyper-realistic Line of Duty, imo. Hard to imagine that Mercurio wrote such a generic content. I suspect lots of folks are overhyping the hell out of it, cuz of the "Jed Mercurio" factor. A testament to the auspicious nature of a good branding, I guess.

This is why I generally prefer slow burners. They are always original in their storytelling, and oftentimes, you can't tell what's lurking around the corners.

I have seen Jack Ryan and it is not better than Condor. I hate the main character in Jack Ryan. Jack (John krasinki) is a terrible actor. There was nothing special about his achievements in the series. He could not even fight as a former marine.

I'm happy that I haven't watched this bodyguard.
Reason: Cos it was compared with condor and God knows that I wasted my mb on that series. Busted! Same overrated sh*t.

Have you seen Banshee? It's very good!! It's a Crime Drama / Thriller... Tyrant is very good too... Sense8 is good...

I will also suggest THE HAVES AND THE HAVE NOTS... It's a drama/ crime thriller.... GREEN LEAF is good too... It's a drama.. It's produced by Oprah Winfrey...

I haven't seen Bodyguard, but I believe you have become a victim of your achievements when it comes to movies rating, you have raised a high standard for yourself, maybe it's because of movies you have watched in your lifetime..
