The note 6 that'll be available will probably be the Indian variant. So it's not advisable.

Just get cheap dollars if you need the note 5 and head into aliexpress

Very good o! If you ask me. Mine can barely do half of that. I also thinks it depends on how u use it and your network reception strength

I used it to watch movies and play games mostly. Mtn 4G is quite stable too.

Dont know why,but the redmi note 5 doesnt feel like its going to feel outdated any time soon, and as for the redmi note 6 i am very sure there wont be any major upgrade, but well, i might be wrong thou,

More like the redmi note 3 and redmi note 4....

So it would still be a very good buy then.

I hope our sellers here will also do for us black friday sales. smiley So what do u guys think. My budget is 40k may be extended to 45 - 50k Godwilling (no, I'm not going for the redmi 5+; angry
even the note 4 of last year is still selling at similar price point to the note 5. So expect prices to go up a bit soon and then reduce by black Friday. No miracles there

no matter how much we love our devices, we should draw healthy inferences.
Imagine statements like max 2 is better than note 5
5plus is sleeker than note 5 cheesy cheesy
If the above are correct, then note 5 is better than Samsung note 9 and redmi 5 better than find X na grin grin

I can categorically say that xiaomi redmi note 5 is the best smartphone within the 50-70k price bracket on the planet today.

I Finally got off the anti-roll back trap yesterday after almost a month in BREEKland! A kind dude on telegram was benevolent enough to share his authorised MI account to complete the flashing process... grin grin grin

What did i do immediately I was let off the hook? I installed TWRP and flashed MASIK rom with Magisk, Google camera and Dolby atmos which gave me a bootloop. Managed to uninstall the Dolby atmos and my device booted in a flash.

Big shout out to @ Adamix, dude was really really helpful during my wandering trials.

On the plus side, I learned a lotta extra stuff while trying to get myself outta those Xiaomi shackles and i am confident they'll come in handy in the nearest future. For those tinkerers like me, please exercise caution as there is still no unofficial way out of ARB and waiting for Xiaomi to grant your account the needed permission is an exercise in futility.

N.B: If you've managed to get a Dolby atmos zip which doesn't cause bootloops in RN5 Whyred, kindly quote me Asap!

Regards!!

Why use Dolby when there are working Viper FX and V4 Magisk Modules?
Save yourself the stress.

Seen reviews ...can you please explain the all round noticeable difference except for price
This comparison will be limited to the most important differences.
For starters, the processor on the 'note 5 (sd636) is a much better performer than the sd625 on the '5 plus, the processor in the latter is just a little bit power efficient than the one in the former.

The camera on the 'note 5 is not just better on paper than the '5 plus but it beats it in real life performance. There is a dual 12+5mp setup on the note 5 and just 12mp on the '5 plus. The front is saddled with a 13mp on the 'note 5 while the '5 plus is just 5mp, both comes with front facing flash.

The screen is virtually same on both devices, but test conducted in the lab by professionals seems to favour the 'Note 5 over '5 plus, I doubt this little difference can be seen by average users on a daily though.

Both devices are identical in weight and size, there is harldy any difference, infact, viewing the black variant of both models from the front seems to be same device. The back view gives out the difference in both models.

If you ask me on which to get, I would advise you take the 'Note 5 because apart from being the best on paper spec-wise, it is the newer of the two devices, the likelier to get another major android update and that makes it more future-proof than the '5 plus.
