Na so. School has resumed, so anything related to children will increase. My colleague bought food flask double the price I bought it for 2 months ago.

In other news, please who has magic tips on how to potty train a 2 year old? Trying to get my son to sit on the potty is something else. My neighbor said she used 'serious beating' to train her daughter embarassed embarassed. I really don't want to go that way sad

Has he started school?

Most schools potty train kids from 18 months, u may have t ask the school if they'll do that for him. If yes, then U just follow up the potty training at home.

Evening

I'm not doing exclusive but partial exclusive if there's something like that. My lo takes formula on average of once a day or twice depending on if I couldn't express much or days when he eats much or when I return home very late

What I did was, two weeks before my resumption I started expressing milk and feeding my little one only from bottles during the day. I did this to be able to measure what volume he takes per meal and how many times he'd feed during the day. This still guides my pumping.

If you Can express at work n keep cold till you get home, then practice this pumping while still on leave.

The idea was to do a trial run of what I'd do when I resume. Your creche shud have a fridge to maintain the frozen milk. And teach them how you want them roto handle it. I advise dropping an extra bottle of milk in case baby wants more or you're running late.

Things u need a good thermal bag.
A freezer bag or ice pack(those plastic that keep iceblock without melting.
Storage bottles or a good feeding bottle that can withstand being refrigerated.
A hotwater flask that can keep water for 24hrs atleast to be on the safe side
A cup or bowl deep enough to hold water for the bottle.
An extra bag or plastic bucket with cover to keep used bottles.

Before u start creche, express at home and give baby so u can dwtermine how much food baby takes at once eg 100mls at a go.
Also check the time interval eg. Every 2 hours.
Now express the day before and fill all your storage bottles at 100mls or if u r using a feeder directly all at 100mls. If u resume 9 n close 2 probably get home by 4.that means u will need like 4bottle or 5 bottles.
Store in the freezer.
In the morning
Pack your storage bottles in the thermal bag put the ice pack to keep it cold.
Pack your sterilized bottles with their nipple.please for sanitary purposes unless u r sure of the nanny at the creche, pack 5 bottles with 5 teats in a seperate bag. Conatining the hot water flask n the cup n the bowl.
WRITE DOWN SPECIFIC INSTRUCTIONS ON HOW TO DEFROST AND WARM YOUR BABY'S MILK AND TIME TO FEED.
pack diapers n changing clothes, tag the empty bucket along.they should keep the used bottles for u,they shoyldnt wash it. That wayu r sure they are actually using a new bottle everytime.

Be friendly with the nanny.explain to her physically how u want ur child treated. Stress importance of hygiene without sounding bossy. Appreciate her.

Itsquite easy.but u need to form a routine.

Best of luck

consider buying a fancy potty
My son hated the one that came with the bath set.

Got the one that looks like a car. Now I'm the one that begs him to get up

He sits willingly, he will pee and poo and someday will simply get up once he's done pooing
