There are two things you need to find out before you take a decision to either leave her alone or stay with her and try to change her...
1. You need to find out if she genuinely loves you.
You can give her some tests that will certainly proof how much she loves you.
2. If you are convinced that she loves you, then her behavior could be due to some character flaws she inherited from her mother. So to confirm this, you must find out everything you can about her mother's character especially her attitude towards her father.

In case she was born out of wedlock and as a result, or just maybe she has never seen her parents together, just like someone(debbycreamy) said here earlier, then I will advise you to be patient with her and try your best to influence her to change.
But if you discover that her parents stayed together, but never had a healthy relationship with each other, or perhaps her mother had a bad attitude towards her father, and that has given her those character flaw, then I will advise you to run for your life, no matter how much she loves you.
Love alone isn't enough for two people to marry or stay together... In a normal, reasonable setting, character suppose to come first before love.
