+ Dublin is a nice place. Blacks are very few here. When I got to Dublin airport ... Someone whispered "O my God, he is black".. Hehehe. But the people here are nice doh ... Very nice..
Mingle...meet with non Nigerians.... Make friends. Indians are much here as well.
+ be good/cool/nice to people.
Be grateful to God, there are homeless people here as well.
And be positive.
+ be wary of Naija scammers when looking for accommodation.
Take care

.. Anyone can make it anywhere bro. Just believe. Do the necessary things you ought to do (hard work, focus, diligence etc) and hold on to your faith and things will work out for good. That aside.. the homeless (needy) are everywhere in the world whether USA, Europe etc.
Cheers!!

Hello, congrats. Which campus are you going? When are you leaving for Ireland?
Re: GENERAL Irish (student)visa & Work Permit-New THREAD*** by bigmills: 1:10pm On Sep 15, 2018
Plan your finance well.
It's easy to blow upto 500Euro in your first week if you dont have a grip on finance.
Immigration registration takes time..i suggest you start trying it from Naija.
Be nice cos people are nice.
Irish people enjoy walking long distance.
Accomodation is expensive in DUBLIN..
I suggest you pay for a hostel for like 1-2weeks to settle a bit.
My school is yet to resume, i wanna know my time table before i decide accomdation.
Nigerian food very expensive but oyinbo food very cheap..Why would anyone wanna eat Nigeria food always though when we can make shephered pie and all..
Also download "transport for ireland" app.Its a journey planer and it will help you know your way, plan your journry and know which bus or train to take.

Nasalino:
Good afternoon house

My student visa has been granted today
I applied in june 6th. Courier man brought it today

The documents I submitted are

1.Two previous denial letters for canada in 2017
2.My Statement of purpose
3.Letter of application/Cover letter
4.Educational documents waec, ielts,transcripts, school cert e.t.c
5.Offer letter from Griffith college, showing higher diploma in first year and msc in second year
6.invitation to register letter from griffith college
7.all receipts of tuition payment to griffith college
8.I used Edubond also as proof of finances for my first year so I put in the receipt of that
9.Bank statements of my sponsor, which is my Dad including the account where fees were paid from
10.Signed Letter of sponsorship from my dad
11. I have been working for my dads company since last year, so I included a signed letter of introduction from my dad under his companies letter head
12.I included my bank statement showing 20,000 naira stipend that was paid to me from my dads company account for the past six months
13. My dads company CAC and company registration form, company bank statement

14.birth certificate, Nysc, all Previous passports and photocopy front to back, CV

some notes: -> I got admission through an agency called study across global, they also really helped me in the visa application, and didn't charge me a dime for everything because the schools griffith college and co pay them for the service. So do check them out

->I explained in my SOP that reasons for denial were because of careless handling of my application by the agency i used last year.

If i omitted anything I will add later

Good day

Please I pm you help someone with advice

Hello everyone!

I am currently exploring my chances of studying for and MBA in Ireland and trying to read up on the thread. Any pointers to particular pages with info I'd be most glad.

I also wanted to ask I have three dependent children what could my chances be at the the point of application or shall I just be ready to leave them in Nigeria while studying ? ..cheers and good luck to us all

Do not worry. God has perfected it already. Amen. Still making final arrangements though. Hoping to leave this coming Sunday via emirates airline. Was thinking we could go in group since its same school we would be attending. Lets see what God will do this week. I got a mail from DBS international office that 1st of October is the deadline to enter Ireland. Will be resigning this week we are entering and making final arrangements as well. Believe God and it will end in praises.
