True. Apple has a lot of diehard fans. A strong fan base.

Even though I don't understand the craze, I mean, I just saw MKBHD's unboxing of Xs and Xs Max, and Apple couldn't even care enough to include fast-charger. Here's a 512gb version - $1,499!!! Lol, no audio dongle too

If Apple na naija company, we for talk sey their juju strong gaan

note 5 with a notch and 0.2 inche extra screen

Yeah it's better to just go with the note 5 well unless you like the notch and quad cameras.

Downloaded the Miui 10 from a link in this forum and update via updater app. Well, rocking the miui 10 without any issue.

Heyy guys!!

I saw in miui forum, that update are rolling out for miui 10, and there was a link to download the update, if you can't wait for the OTA...

my question is, is it adviseable to download through the link given on the forum, or i should just wait for the OTA on my phone....??[/quote]

The wise rich, you mean? Some rich people will never choose a cheap android over apple, even if the Android performs 10 times more than Apple can do. This is cos some people believe that the only reason they are rich is so that they can buy what the poor can't dare to.

But for the rich that want value for their bucks, there's no doubt they will be turning to cheaper Android

Plz don't get it twisted, this assumption of the rich only preferring to use iPhone over Android devices only obtains within Nigeria & other underdeveloped countries with a skewed idea of affluence & wealth.

In developed climes majority pick the device of their choice & pay in installments under contact with a network carrier. Therefore anybody can use any device they so wish provided it's accessible under contact thus a student can be seen using even the latest iPhone XS Max some days after it's release.

Expensive phone is never a luxury, if only Nigerians will change their mindset.

Yes, it's not for the note 5 users. Maybe note 3/4 or redmi 5 plus users.

Abasha!!

As far as I'm concerned Samsung remains the best flagship OEM if price isn't a factor.

RN6 wouldn't checkmate IPhone XR in any way, they are in different leagues. IPhones are basically for people who have the funds to throw around without exactly bothering about the value for their money, that's my perception tho

Not really, iPhones really have value for money. Apple is known to be great with software and updates. Even the 2013 iPhone 5s is getting iOS 12. The iPhone 6 of 2014 will still get updates officially, the Samsung S5 of 2014 is stuck at 6.0 officially. If you got an iPhone 5s in 2013, you could still be using it 5 years down and still get updates and security patches, great value for money. You'd only need to change battery of course. So think about it, you're actually getting mad value for your money. The only android company who is like Apple is Xiaomi.

The main reason I got a Xiaomi instead of a Samsung or Pixel was Software, MIUI is really the best UI I've seen on android and I've used lots of android phones, then the support and updates too. Xiaomi is well known for its updates of older devices to the newest user interface, which is really wonderful. Even the 2013 Mi 3 is getting MIUI 10, which is impressive . In comparism Samsung and Google supports for just 3 years. It is very assuring to know Xiaomi has got us covered. Beautiful MIUI and great company.
Great devices which are affordable and supported over the years. Xiaomi takes the gold medal in my opinion, in my opinion they're the best android OEM right now.
As for me, it is either an iPhone or a Xiaomi, I know I am getting value for my money, now and in the future.
