Good Day,
Please what ECA does doctors(specialists) do?
I mean doctors with a higher qualification than ordinary degree?
Please a specialist doctor or anyone who has information on this should pls guide me.
Thank you

What's the name of that higher qualification of (specialist) doctors than ordinary (MBBS/BDS) degree?
In the meantime you may want to search for ECA for physicians on this thread.

Dear house,

please see screen shots below from ECA, I know this matter has been previously addressed, but as Thomasina that i am on this matter, please help reconfirm that this is equivalent to 2 or more Certificates

BSc and One semester doesn't not equate to 2 or more certificates.

Confer with others that have gone the ACCA route to know what you Did wrong.

Good morning fam,

Please there seems to be huge backlog with medical bookings in the approved hospitals. On contacting (2 out 3 recommended) was told the whole month is filled and will have to wait till mid October.

Any way around this hiccup please?

Nope. Just take the next available date.

There are just few hospitals approved to conduct the medicals and more people are joining the pool everyday.

Make hay...

If U evaluate Ur law degree with IQAS U should get an equivalent of professional degree which is also same as what Ur MBA will give U. So U can go ahead with it evaluation with IQAS unless U want to use WES, den U wait for Ur MBA.

Just the law degree without the law school?

Is the supervisor authorized to write the letter using the letterhead in line with the company's policy?

If he/she is not then please use a plain paper and notarize it. Also add supervisor's call card and email from HR stating they can't go out of their generic format.

Cc: @yakay

Thanks for this, I have spoken to her and she doesn't have access to the head office letter head, she only has access to the letter head of the present station where she heads (cos each station has a customised letter head for their own correspondence with tax payers).
We might just end up doing it on a plain sheet to be on the safe side.

What did they write in your 'Canadian equivalency summary'?

Your first language can still be english even though you are from so and so tribe. For example, i am Yoruba but english is my first language because my knowledge of written and spoken Yoruba (which you have reffered to as mother tongue) is minimal (not my fault) and takes a back seat to english. So for IELTS i entered English as my first language.

OK, that magic number of minimum 8777 in LRWS is the most important though not any language selection. it will end in praise. grin

Does spouse need to get Attestation of age? PA already has.

joo2018:
You only need your passport. It is dependants that need birth certificates.

However, pls do the affidavit and keep it. Who knows when you will need it?

Good day people. It feels good to be here. I'm a new applicant and I have a few hiccups. I applied for WES evaluation using my ''married name'' (changed my surname to my Husband's surname, and I also changed my middle name to my husband's first name), however, my waec and degree certificate and international passport still carries my maiden name.

In preparation for ielts, I decided to change my international passport details to my married name but I was told I could only change my surname to my husband's surname and leave the middle name as it was. This prompted me to swear a new affidavit and newspaper publication with the change of ONLY my maiden surname to my husband's surname.

I have now submitted my degree certificate but WES has not acknowledged receipt and I am worried because my husband and I submitted to WES on the same day and his certificate has been acknowledged. Could the discrepancies in the name on my application and the name on my certificate have caused this delay? How do I regularize this?

I also intend to maintain the name as it is on the new international passport (surname change only), how do I inform WES about this? And is it possible to change it in my WES application, to avoid this kind of issue arising in future? Because as it stands, I seem to have three different names and it can be confusing to whoever handles my documents.

Kindly advice. Thank you.

No, only children dependants unless you or your spouse are claiming points for siblings in Canada.

Check the link below for the documents you need:

No. The final report will simply note that there was a name discrepancy, there's no cause for delay here.

BarbaraCharles:

Contact them through their web form

BarbaraCharles:

Request for this through their web form, attach your passport data page and affidavit of name change. I don't know if it's possible but no harm in trying.

BarbaraCharles:

If WES refuses to make the change, then fall back on a one and same person affidavit for future.

Yes just the law degree with IQAS will give U
equivalent of professionall degree, but with WES U will get equivalent of BSc, also with WES,the maximum U can get if U evaluate the degree alongside law school is 2 or more certificates. So check which will be better for u, points for professional degree or points U get for 2 or more certificates , whichever is enough for u to boost Ur CRS is what U will go for.

Good day everyone, please I have again with another concern. I'll just give a breakdown of my background.

I graduated in 2014 but my certificate was issued in 2015, ECA states 2015.

I finished law school in 2015, went for service same hear October, but was called to Bar in December.

I intend to claim points from my service year (just one year work experience) as a professional

Will my application pull through considering the fact that I started working in October but was issued a professional certificate in December? How do I go about it?

Your advise will be highly appreciated.
Thanks

I don't expect any nairalander to be extorted at VFS office. Ignore any security personnel or business center insisting on booking appointment before biometric. Insist on speaking to any staff or tell them it is written as not important on VFS website, they will just free you... Lol.
Go with 2 photocopies of your data page
Original international passport
Print out biometric Letter
You won't spend penny at the center if you go with the aforementioned items but keep #200 for your bags and other belongs in their locker. #TEAM DIY

Whether or not she has access to the letter head, I wil advise she writes it on plain paper. Reason being that she is not writing on behalf of the company and as such has no right to use any letter headed paper. It is not an official letter since she is writing it for you in her personal capacity just to confirm what you claim you have done. Please note that a company’s official letter headed paper is to be used for official business only.
