nextstep: Sure, the previous government failed and this man is trying to pick up the pieces but still PDP cabals are making things worse for him. There is a big difference now, Before you can't roam around the city with out citing police or military check point. Even churches, mosques, schools, public places, you must see police presence their. You don't hear suicide bombing and killing like before. Everyone was leaving in fear. Now the situation is better than before |

resurgent2019: I am a Christian back and front. My dad a Rev and mum, deacon Bros the truth is bitter. Everything we are suffering today in this country, it is as a result of PDP negligence. 16years no credible infrastructure on ground. Power zero Roads zero Rail zero Security zero The system was polluted with corrupt people Just busy looting and looting At a time Nigeria was among the highest buyer and users of Private jets, just to mention a few. you know that. |

excomarow: Even though I accept that PDP messed up, it doesn’t mean that the APC has to be absolved from all blame. Buhari might mean well but he is not suited for a United and progressive Nigeria. That is my personal opinion oo. |

coputa: Either they collect ransom directly, or indirectly... one way or the other money is exchanged for food, supplies, and arms. It has not escaped me that they appear better equipped with each ransom paid. |

excomarow: The image says "Patriotsm is supporting your Commander-in-Chief, even if you don't agree with him on everything". Actually Patriotism is supporting your country, full stop. If the particular government or Commander-in-Chief has goals that are not in line with the country's best interests, patriotism demands protest, disobedience, and even their removal. PMB's policies are anti-Nigeria, divisive, and retrogressive; he abuses Nigerians at any chance he gets; and has yet to demonstrate competency for the job he was elected to do. He is unapologetically pro-North (at the cost of a united Nigeria); he has a tendency to associate more closely with his kinsmen in Niger, than the rest of Nigeria; he is dismissive of the opinions and lives of those in other parts of this country. He has demonstrated his anti-Nigeriannes times without number that it's become comical. And you ask if we've given him a chance. He would have been much happier with a country called Arewa. You can see it in everything he does and says. |

Firebomber:It's the dilemma me and other critics face. I feel the groups should do more to pressurize our government. It is their onus to release her. Paying for her release only empowers Boko Haram, a situation disastrous to this nation's citizens. Watch what will happen if all this plays out: Boko Haram will start publicizing captures hoping to extort cash-laden NGOs, the government and citizens at large. We'll start unknowingly funding the same group terrorizing us. I honestly don't know any effort the government has put into her release. Our leaders are a hush-hush set of people and it's a situation to their detriment. |

I pray she is released hale and hearty. This is good news. Since our government is slow to act then someone else should handle the burden. |

meobizy: That's what we are talking about here, this government seems to care less about the girl. Lolz, what else did you want the groups to do apart from what they are doing now. CAN and other groups have been pressuring this government ever since the incident occur but it was you people that keep calling CAN name for doing so. |
