Thesame ransom money they will use to acquire more weapons to kill more people and kidnap yet another. The resurgence of the Boko haram terrorists organisation began with the commencement of ransom taking. Buhariiiiii ehhhhhhh! |

And the criminals collecting tithes in Nigeria will never bring out the money that is not theirs for any worthy cause like this. Those private jets will not be sustainable very soon, no matter how daft the gullibles want to remain |

nextstep:OK noted !!! But what do you advise them to do, leave her there, or have they not been killing since, is it today that you know they are financially empowered to buy weapons. Yes your assertion is good, I mean is necessary but not sufficient enough, when we get to that bridge we will cross it, beside enough is enough the girl has tried, put yourself in the shoe of her family, if she was your sister will you still say the same thing you are saying. Weather anybody like it or not it is a welcome development if Leah is finnally freed. It is the end that justifies the means sometimes. #freeleahsharibu |

Did the Human Rights Watch not report that foreign based NGOs are behind the funding of this terrorist group? We can see it play before our very eyes. The funny part is the average Nigerian will support this even though we have a government which should see to her extraction without financially aiding the terrorist organization. I honestly support it but my sense of logic rejects such a move. |

excomarow: Since you're looking for who to blame, let me remind you of these other incidents: Wasn't it PMB and cohorts who said: "Military Offensive against Boko Haram, Anti-north", "[Boko Haram is] not deserving of the wrath of the Nigerian army", "am not in support of the state of emergency in Borno, Yobe and Adamawa state."? It was only in the few months before elections that Buhari said anything along the lines of crushing BH. Before, he had appeared sympathetic and worked hard to frustrate GEJ's attempts. And didn't the French government make things worse by pressuring us to pay Boko Haram that $3.15 million as ransom for 7 citizens in 2013? Does Nigeria make guns? Where did these weapons come from? Aren't we seeing evidence that Northern elites have been colluding with, supporting, housing, and financing Boko Haram all these years? 1 Like 1 Share |

chriskosherbal: Sigh... the ends justify the means. So Leah gets free, BH buys more weapons and food with the ransom money, and then hundreds others are killed or turned into orphans over the next six months. Not sure what ends are being justified. I would not have paid a single ransom from the beginning is what I'm saying. Yes sacrifice Leah... or does her life matter more than the others who will be killed in the coming months? 1 Like |

Aden777: That's my point: all the other people being killed, are they not somebody's child? And we know that if we save one person, that ransom money will be used to kill hundreds more. Ransom money buys guns, trucks, petrol, bombs, phones, food, bribes. All which will be used to attack villages in the near future. And they will still capture another person for next year's ransom. I know it's a tough choice, but risking a hundred lives because we want to save one life does not make sense to me 2 Likes |

excomarow: Are you saying GEJ wanted General Aziz killed... you don't think it's the Northern conspirators who have their boys in the intelligence agencies? We can go back and forth, about who started what when. OK GEJ was ineffective, and he paid the price at the polls. PMB was making excuses when he wasn't president. Now he's been in charge for more than 3 years, and he still has not solved what he was elected to do. What he said he could do in a few months. And his herders have been even more effective at ending lives under his watch. He is a retired general, he was trained for this sort of thing, yet no results. He wasn't elected to make excuses about how the previous government was failed... he was elected to fix things. |

meobizy: I guess 250 days is not enough for them to be seeing to her extraction. Can you please tell me one move that this government have made for her to be release? This is what am saying to some of the dumb pastors hater that want pastors to pay for her release, am so sure you people will still accuse pastor of sponsoring bokoharam if they are the one that want to pay for her release.
