Present oooo Cappo. just got back from the scan center, was hoping to know the sex today but baby has ideas of his/her own, refused to open laps and stay in one place. Everything else is fine thank God, enough kicks oh, especially after i eat or drink. EDD remains the same. No shopping yet, but my eye has been wandering over online shops,. We shall all welcome our LOs in joy and with ease in Jesus name. Amen.

Side note: I learned something new today. The doctor that scanned me mentioned in passing that its good to have the results of previous scans with you, so comparisons on size and growth can be made especially for some internal organs like the bladder and stomach (to be sure baby is producing urine, urinating and swallowing).

Side Side note: I read about tetanus shots, please when should i take them, also preventive anti-malaria?

Thank God for you. For the tetanus shots, please start now. It's about 5 shots for life the schedule is:
1st shot
2nd shot 1 month after
6 months after the 2nd
1 year after the 3rd
1 year after the 4th and you are covered for life.

Good morning mama's. I've been offline for days now cos I'm having issues. I've cried, prayed to my father in heaven, assured myself God loves me and i know all will be well. I was feeling feverish, so i had to go to d hospital, i did a test few days ago and the doc said I have malaria. I was given some drugs and was asked to come for my first scan the 2nd day cos I've registered for antenatal.

On the 2nd day, i told the sonographer i'm ecpecting twins and he laughed, I said I prayed to God for twins and I believe I'm carrying twins. It took the sonographer more than 30mins to finish d scan, dh was with me and he was worried, I knew i had issues when the sonographer started asking me questions like, do you bleed? Did u spot while preggy? Were you having back pain? Hmmmmmn. I said NO. No spotting, No backache, I only have cramps. He said okay.

Then, I noticed some things. Dh and I saw 2 babies in a sac, then the sonographer didn't say a word. He showed me just one active baby, he showed me his fingers, the umbilical cord, my placenta etc. Then I saw another baby that was inactive again, the guy didn't say a word. Hmmmn. Then he clicked on the baby and I saw 12 weeks and 4days, then he clicked on something and I saw 6 weeks and 2 days. Then I became scared and confused but I still don't understand what the problem is.

On our way back to the hospital reception, I told dh my observations, he said he noticed some things too. He said I should go to d reception that he will ask the sonographer some questions. Dh came back with a red eye and fake smile, he started googling some things on his phone and I became suspicious. I started crying, dh said all is well (with the fake smile o).

It was time to see d Dr to interprete d result, dh asked d Dr what is the cause of vanishing twin baby? Ha! That was how I started crying, I cried and the Dr and dh said I shld calm down. The Dr said for now there is nothing they can do, I will have to repeat d scan in 4 weeks time. The issue is my 2nd baby wasn't breathing, he's 6 weeks+ and my other baby is 12 weeks +. Then I have fibroid, a big one. It was detected same day. So my 2 babies and the big fibroid are all in my uterus, no wonder my Belle is big. The fibroid is not gIving my 2nd baby space at all, that's why he's not breathing.

I'm emotionally down, dh sis who is a medical practitioner have referred us to an experienced gynae in a general hospital. The gynae said he has years of experience but has never heard of twins growing seperately, that twins grow togeda. I'll be seeing the gynae for another scan this weekend.

I want my other baby active and I pray for a miracle....can he still breath? Will he be fine? Has anyone had same experience before and willing to share? I'm so sad.

Mamas, pls pls concerning this primrose stuff i asked my consultant Gyneacologist. The man was so furious and broken as he was explaining. he said never ever try such that he just finished a C-section to remove a dead baby. He said the woman used it not knowing the baby had cord around the neck so. The evening primrose made her go into labour and the child became distress pooed and died. He said satan is looking for how to deal with someone . So one should not give him ideas by our action pls its a No No.
He said God designed labour as a natural process that once its time it will kick in. I tried to tell him a midwife prescribed it and he said he is a CONSULTANT GYN that consults for several government and private hospitals and he has had several emergency cases caused by these actions of pregnant women. Pls avoid Evening Primrose and Castor Oil

He delivered my brothers child, my cousins and some uncles children as well and takes his time to explain everything going on with you. Hello mama Whyworryph and all my November Teamies, thank God for our journey so far o. I am now 32weeks plus. I have been in and out of the hospital every week since week 26.

First I noticed reduced fetal movement. This baby was just not moving... hia I got very scared and went to the hospital. They ran an EKG for the baby then ordered a scan. The baby was just lying down breathing but zero movements. The songrapher had to start singing and poking the baby hahahaha. Finally, baby came to life.

They noticed reduced blood flow and nutrients to the placenta which may affect the growth and so they had to keep a close eye. They also gave me steriods incase they need to deliver early.
So every week I go for a scan to check the blood flow and growth.

So far so good. God has been faithful. Baby is growing very well and another plus is I get to see that sweet face every week hahahaha

Our journies will end with praise and we will come out with our LO hale and hearty.

PS: please always be attentive to your baby's movements and any change.

Thank God for you. We wait to share your testimony of safe delivery when it's time.

In pregnancy, you should always consult your doctor before you take or insert anything into your body. The fact that it worked for some doesn’t mean it’s safe and might work for another. Thank you for this foresight, didn’t look at it from this angle.

Sis, i quite understand how you feel. I also had a vanishing twin at 8weeks. I had 2sacs at 6weeks. By 8weeks the second sac no longer had heartbeat and got smaller. My doc said the body will absorb the tissues. Now all i see is one healthy baby which I'm so thankful for after the years of waiting. My nurse also told me not to think too much of it as the body has a way of doing away with embryos with chromosomal disorders.

This is not to say yours wont come alive. It will by God's grace. Hang in there and trust God for everything.

Sorrry for deviating. Good evening mothers how are we and our pregnancies progressing? Remaining sept Mamas a salute every every. It shall end in praise by God's grace.
Pls who among us is using this particular brand of pressure pot. I just bought this one a month ago and I tell u it has not been cooking under pressure at all. No difference between it and ordinary pot. The fume keeps escaping. Tried changing d ring with d spare DT came with it still no difference. Its really frustrating as I'm trying to manage my gas this one DT gas is now expensive. Pls any idea of what to do or is there something I should do DT I'm not doing. Need ur advice/suggestions pls.

Please dear take heart. I understand. I had this same issue wen I was 6 weeks. After a little bleeding. I went to hospital. After the scan they said all is fyn. But in my 8 weeks. I repeated the scan. I was told they are seeing 2 sacs. But one have heartbeat. And second one. They are not seeing any heart beat. My dear i went to different scan in different hospital. I was told the same. They later saw an empty sac. But it didn't get to me much. I was thankful to God that one is still growing fyn. So I'm now left with one healthy baby. So please just pray to God let his will be done. He has reason for everything. I'm now team November.

How saddening to hear this. My heart reaches out to your mama. We will keep believing God for a miracle for your second twin. Please be strong.

Mamas abeg my 2weeks baby keep vomiting after every feed even after belching pls experience mama what will I do my first baby didn't do this

U can try standard life hospital at Abule-egba,d doc is a guru,he is also a consultant gyne at d general hospital at ile-epo..he gives 100%attention,.....(his name is dr Korede)...
He is also specialize in IVF
There was a woman DAT I referred,she was TTC,after placing her on fertility drugs n other things she gave birth to twin ....
Just tell him Jessica sent u,he will give u all d attention u need n even health educate u d more on d subject matter.
