Nigerian comdeian, Francis Agoda, AKA I Go Dye, has reacted to the declaration of the Saturday’s governorship election in Osun State as ‘inconclusive’ by the Independent National Electoral Commission, INEC.

The comedian described the inconclusiveness of the poll as “nothing but a rape on our democracy”
Speaking with Vanguard, I Go Dye said; “Going by global democratic trend, the will of the people cannot be subverted. Let no one assume the knowledge of superiority against the truth. It shall backfire. “The present election is a testimony or test of what may likely happen in 2019.We don’t need to win at all times. There should be a time to learn how to do things right. “However, I call on Osun people to be law abiding and allow justice to take its course. How will INEC justify the fact that with the high number of security operatives present, there were still cases of irregularities? “This is a slap on our democracy and should not be encouraged at all. “What is inconclusive? Is nothing but a rape on democracy and our sensitivity as a people.”

What's inec faulting at nw. They did their job and they did it perfectly. Are they meant to declare Adeleke as the winner of the election. Some people here will now say yes. Nigerians will not be affected by ignorance, By God's Grace. Has he even bothered to read the amended electoral act of 2010. ... NO... most of you here haven't read it,but yet you're the ones talking.......

He should go and find out what happened in Kogi State with Late Governor Audu, What was the vote scored between the two major parties, the difference in vote with respect to cancelled votes and what was INEC's position. Nigerians dont read so they always have very short memory

What INEC did is wrong and not democratic. They can subvert democratic institutions if it is allowed.

I have read their rule about declaring results inconclusive based on votes cancelled versus vote differences. But, if you look at that rule, which is not part of the INEC, it means INEC can manipulate the results they don’t want.

If their favorite candidate is losing, all they just need to do is, cancel enough votes until it is above the vote difference, now their guy have a second chance at the Apple again.

INEC is putting themselves as both the Judge and the Prosecutor here....normally, when you cancel votes, those voters have the right to appeal the INEC decision and a Judge will adjudicate on the issue.
