I was in a similar situation. I had a DHL rep there pay the 5000 naira verification fee but the person wrote the receipt in my maiden name. The email from WES was in my married name. So they kept searching for the mail from WES but didn't find it. Not until my husband went there himself last week and asked them to search using my married name. Now my WES status has changed to " reviewing documents"

I hope this won't raise any eyebrows when MPNP sends my nomination certificate to EE.

Hi there, please I also want to evaluate my credential (Msc only) with ICES. Filled my profile just now but yet to submit. I need some help because it reads once submitted, no more editing. My question is;
1. I don't have apartment buzzer number
2. My ATM card says debit master card while ices you pay with credit card.
3. I'm married now and my profile name along with my international passport carries my husband's name while my credential has my father's name.
4. Please I need a challenge partner for all these process including the IELTS preparation. Thank you all. I have learnt a lot here.

Thank you for the prompt reply... I am not doing both but trying to see which one is reliable and fast in giving final report... i learned ICES evaluation is very good and also they accept email confirmation from institutions compared to WES that only accept a sealed letter by courier service which could cost more time in delaying reports.

Please I need advise.I am so confused.So I recieved my PPR mail on Sept the 19th.And the mail says we shd submit our passports in 15 days..Don't know if this is 15 working days sha.My hubby is out of town with his passport and he doesn't get back till next month..Don't really know what to do.
1.Do I send them a mail asking for and extension?would that reason be valid enough?
2.Do I submit with the kids then when he comes back submit his seperately?

Yes you do...Every one needs passports irrespective of their ages.

From CIC.
"...documentation to support a declaration of status as “legally separated” (e.g., a letter of explanation, legal documents, etc.), if applicable." check here.

"...a separation agreement, a court order in respect of custody of children substantiating the marriage breakdown, or
documents removing the legally married spouse(s) from insurance policies or wills as beneficiaries (a “change of beneficiary” form)". check here.

Note that there have been instances where case officers were not satisfied with the documents provided and still asked for divorce papers (check here and check here)

Take note though that you must get a consent letter from him/her to include your children in your application or provide a legal document handing over custody of your children to you (see here).

As long as you are married, your spouse, separated or not is part of your application and is only exempted from eligibility. He/she may be evaluated for admissibility i.e. the spouse may need to do medicals, get PCC and criminality checks will be done on him/her by the relevant government agencies (see here).

I think option 1 is better. People have posted getting extensions. If you can provide evidence of his travel, so much better.

You can write and ask for an extension. The reason is valid enough.
You can also write and ask if it's possible for you and the kids to submit in Accra while hubby submits where he is.
Or hubby can dhl his passport to you and you submit everything here. When COPR comes back, send the passport back (hope his stay over there is long enough sha. And if he has two passports, that would be great)

I didn't attend PFC session on 18th Sept because I am yet to pass medicals ( AOR Sept 5th) and it was boldly written on their invitation email that the new UCI is mandatory, I couldn't risk attending and be bounced back. Once I pass medicals I will book for another session and register for other pre arrival services to keep my mind busy.

A draw has just taken place for FST @284. This shows that there is likely low cut draws for people below 440 before the year runs out. # someone should be motivated

Draw #100. IRCC and unpredictability sha. I had that feeling but when I checked in the afternoon, it had not been posted.
The bolded is only likely if IRCC doesn't postpone the the next draw to another 2wks like in May/June and/or reduce no of ITAs.
If the next draw is postponed, they may have gotten round the issue of doing 3 big draws in October (5wks).

I live in a different country from my family, so I requested more time to get our passports together. I was given an extension of about 3 months (until December) and advised that I don't necessarily have to submit in the same location as my family. I didn't attach any evidence to the email, although I had previously raised a CSE for change of address.

Your email should be to the Ottawa office, with your PPR letter in the thread.

If you get legally divorced from your spouse, that legal document you get will be your proof of separation, and yes, there won't be a problem when you decide to settle down again.
I'm not so sure but I have heard someone here saying divorce proceedings is faster in a customary court.

Same here but Delta State University since August still waiting for verification after I have paid 25k for the verification well am still waiting.
