Bede2u:See that comment of yours I put in bold? It is absolutely unneeded. You guys keep on mentioning a group whose stance will do little or nothing to contribute to the bulk of Igboland's development. Don't you guys get tired of this? Let them be! Build your own immediate neighbourhood first, then all else will fall in line. It makes no difference whoever owns Port Harcourt. Fulanis can own it for all I care. If Igbos bring in half the output they expend in other parts of Nigeria where they have been residing say, since the past 10 years...even you wouldn't give a bleep if any Igboid group outside the 5 SE state exists or not. Look inwards. Those people you keep half an eye on have their own interests which could be totally divergent from your views. |

Bede2u:boss. The old eastern Nigeria is dead. Please let's start talking about igbos. Forget efik. Ibibio and co. They don't wana learn. Even the so-called intellectuals are also ignorant about the happenings in Nigeria.... They rather blame igbos than blame the north who is holding them down.... |

mightguy:All these ethnicities (even the other two major ones) know the worth of Igbos....even if grudgingly so! You hear all these negativity some of them spout about us, yet doesn't it strike you as odd that the Biafran agitation for secession (even if it's just the 5 south eastern Igbo states) is receiving ZERO support from the rest of the country? Fact of the matter is, not only do they know our worth, but they (those of them that can't see a life worth living without 'one Nigeria') also know that if ANY ethnic group (not just Ndigbo) or region is allowed to break away, it would lead to a domino effect that would equally lead to the demise of Nigeria as we know it! Everyone, bar the Hausa/Fulani, are sick and tired of Nigeria as is.....just that some don't have the self-belief like Ndigbo to want to go it alone! If by some fortuitous chain of events, Nigeria disintegrates, i make bold to assert that most of these ethnic groups you presently think are antagonistic towards us would want to form a new union with us.....especially groups that made up the old eastern and midwest regions. All it would take for this to happen is Ndigbo and just one of these ethnic groups (especially one with access to the sea) agreeing to form a union, and then you'll see others wanting to join! Especially if they see this new nation would be one based on equality of all its component parts...a weak centre....and one in which all component parts have control of their own resources and destiny! In short, the very antithesis of 'one Nigeria'! ![]() |

Xander85:don't mind them. Obi fa dicha n'eze. But cowardice won't allow them to think straight. They are waiting for someone to liberate them. If biafra eventually comes. We must sideline them. So that they will struggle and get their own freedom. By then The north will aggressively and wickedly hold them down more than they are doing the igbos |

Xander85:Nigerians of other ethnicity present a comic and sad spectacle of cowardice and treachery daily. I recall at the height of IPOB's agitation,Yoruba's hosted Odua Congress and had a major convention on self determination and restructuring which they called "IBADAN DECLARATION" all in a bid to give a tacit support to the calls for self determination being championed by IPOB. The (Caliphate) Federal Government through El-Rufai championed and constituted a committee on Restructuring. Middle Belt leaders in one of their meetings openly challenged and denounced the illusion of a monolithic and one indivisible North. They even sent emissaries to pay homage and claim solidarity with Mazi Nnamdi Kanu. I saw a flick on youtube in one of Nnamdi Kanu's visits to Ikwerre and their kings openly pronounced their Igbo roots and also boldly disassociated and deny the Bini origin claims. All the ethnic groups were sending emissaries and making pronouncements to support restructuring. The IPOB phenomenon ought to show Igbos they have no friends in Nigeria yet and are as endangered today as they were in 1966. It is a pity all the noise from Niger Delta about resource control, restructuring from South West, quest to have a separate political union by the middle belt, the desire for autonomy by the minorities in the Niger Delta are all noise and nothing more. No substance. None is willing to sacrifice for the greater good of their people except Igbos. Till date,Igbos remain the only group who consistently and frontally challenge the current structure. "Without a shadow of doubt,Igbos are the only collective paying the ultimate price to free Nigeria from the clutches of conservative and retrogressive forces" Anthony Enahoro Jr. |

| Re: . by Nobody: 3:04pm On Sep 25, 2018 |
Xander85:This is not a place for prediction....disintegration of Nigeria lies in the fact that they keep dragging confusionist across and parrallel to Niger. Just few weeks ago I read a write up on facebook. Claiming Ndoni and ogbaru are same set of people....ofcus I didn't let that slide bye without placing a proper history in-between lines for them. The negative achievements towards biafra actualisation will be a thing of the past once all these SS states are dropped....QED. |
