Good morning.

I have actually been searching for a while now on Nairaland, if there are threads on insurance on properties,and have not seen any.

I have a 3 bedroom Bungalow building in Lagos, and want to insure it. But I have noticed people really dont know anything about insurance. So my questions are.

1- How does the insurance of building work in Nigeria?is it the same way it is in the diaspora?

2- Are there credible insurance companies in Nigeria?

3- Do the insurance companies in Nigeria provide both life and property insurance?

4- Can the house or the good people of Nairaland suggest good insurance companies in Nigeria.

Good morning Bro, have worked with an insurance company before called ENSURE INSURANCE owned by ALLIANZ the official sponsor of Bayern Munich Club in Germany...You can Google the rest. They are Big enough to pay claims that may arise. Infact while i was working there, they owned the highest airline insurance policy.
