Congratulations to the incoming NYSC otondos ... You should all be proud of yourselves. I just finished my service year in July and I am here to answer any NYsC related questions you might have (to the best of my ability).

Camp confusions
How much you need
How to conduct or not conduct yourself wink
Activities to take up that might be beneficial in determining where you are posted to
Best CDS groups
Etc etc

Are you also a foreign student? Wondering how you will survive those 3 ghastly weeks? You are in the right place then!!!

Ask and it shall be answered!

Disclaimer: I speak from Lagos Camp experiences...other camps in other states and how they function may be different but any answer I provide should give you a general guide. I encourage you to conduct your own research and get a varied source for whatever information you seek.

P.s. Yokiti, how have you been? I've missed you like a fat kid misses cake grin

***New rule
If you want me to respond to your question, it might be advisable to NOT type in shorthand! cheesy ;DD cool

Hello house. I'm a Lagos batch B ll corp member. I was initially posted to a school in LG (A) but I was rejected, I later secured another place for my PPA in LG (B), that is a different local government. I went to my LGI and submitted the required letters to effect the transfer. But some persons have been telling me that the probability of getting posted to the new PPA is low cos it's in a different local government area.

And I've been checking my dashboard since last Friday, nothing seems to be there. Anyone on here that has experienced such should please assist me on how to deal with the situation

You are to abide by the rules and regulation guiding the organization you are posted to and NO, Corp members are not involved in any strike whatsoever

OK but u have to bear in mind thar nothing sounds truthful in Nigeria again.

So belief or no belief is a decision of risk at the persons comfort.

Yes you can, but first confirm if your name has been mobilized via the NYSC portal. Your clearance shouldn't take you more than three weeks to complete if you are serious about it. So just start immediately. You are not late.

@ Kenny160,
You will only participate in NYSC provided you graduated before the age of 30.
As it stands now, you have graduated but it remains the result to be approved by your school Senate to formalize it.
.
Good luck and Godspeed on your wait for that event (Senate approval) to happen.
