dipoolowoo:So this lending rate, is it like you lending money to your friend or someone and charging them 19%? |

Barrytone:You are very right. I regret giving him that money. More reason why I keep on telling those around me to invest in TB and not in any real estate for now. The guy knew very well that I got a few bucks from a land that I sold. TB is a coded investment and a safe haven to keep your money away from the Hawks. |

Agbaletu:I have done it over and over for individual and even recently and i always get my money back. This is how i'm doing it: You must be residing in Lagos. Anything outside Lagos is a NO. You must provide 3 sureties. 2 of them must be civil servant and must provide their government work ID card. Your sureties must provide copy of their International passport or driver's licence and a proof of address each. Your sureties must have active phone line. You and your sureties must provide your BVN. You and your sureties must attend my legal team's office where you will sign the agreement documents and instantly you will receive the loan alert whether 5m or 3m , e.t.c.... Lobatan. This logic is cool right? Courtesy of my no nonsense lawyer... ![]() |

dotcomnamename:I wish I had adopted this method. How would you handle it, if the person is your relative? |
| Re: Treasury Bills In Nigeria by dotcomnamename: 1:25pm On Sep 26, 2018 |
Agbaletu:Lend relative money? God won't even forgive me doing that. I'll rather dash them... But lend them? Never... I still want to see my great great grandchildren... |

Please the file which contained the schedule of NTB that was posted on this thread earlier didnt open on my phone. So, for anyone that may take offence at my question, please don’t be. My question: Was there an auction yesterday? |

Good morning house, any dollar fund by Stanbic or First Bank, and what are the rates? With the way inflation and volatile exchange rates affects our naira, is it not a safer bet on retaining value on a dormant fund for over a decade period? |

Good morning, what will be the implications of the NLC strike on the primary market, and will the staff in charge of TB primary market not affected by strike? |
| Re: Treasury Bills In Nigeria by sempe123: 10:12am On Sep 28, 2018 |
it appears FBN is part of this ongoing strike action.i went to their branch here in PH to renew my TB but customers were restricted entrance to their premises. |
| Re: Treasury Bills In Nigeria by Etfash(m): 10:55am On Sep 28, 2018 |
sempe123:So is Stanbic. I went to one of their branches here yesterday to add flesh to the online account I opened but was given cold shoulder: "the bank is closed". |
| Re: Treasury Bills In Nigeria by SOLAWY1234(f): 12:02pm On Sep 28, 2018 |
I have been learning alot from this thread. Thanks to you all. However, I have a clarification. I invested an amount in Tbills using FBN. I wanted the primary market rate. The whole amount was deducted on Monday, Sept 24th with the explanation "TBills:NTB, 91days" and the interest hasn't been credited to my account till now. Is this right? I thought I was supposed to get my interest upfront? Please help. Thank you. |
| Re: Treasury Bills In Nigeria by Etfash(m): 12:19pm On Sep 28, 2018 |
SOLAWY1234:FirstBank debits you as soon as you complete and submit the NTB form. They will bid next week Wednesday and your upfront interest should drop by Thursday. |
| Re: Treasury Bills In Nigeria by Oritna94(m): 12:58pm On Sep 28, 2018 |
Good day everyone. I have gained a lot from this thread. I have a question. I perused the I-invest app and noticed that they did not mention getting the interest upfront except at the maturity date. But from what I read here and elsewhere you get your interest upfront. Please I need clarification about this. Thank you. |
| Re: Treasury Bills In Nigeria by Nobody: 1:31pm On Sep 28, 2018 |
Oritna94:The app is more like fix deposit with higher rates. But is good for offshore investors, rather than tie down money, u get interest while you wait. I just got my money back and ready for next primary market. Made about 98k for the waiting period. Better than 4% savings interest. |
| Re: Treasury Bills In Nigeria by Oritna94(m): 3:27pm On Sep 28, 2018 |
Barrytone:Thank you. How is the interest rate calculated? For example if I put 100000 at 10% for 3 months will I get 10000 naira as interest? |
| Re: Treasury Bills In Nigeria by IHelp: 3:57pm On Sep 28, 2018 |
Oritna94:Read previous posts it will help you. The 10,000 interest for 10% is per annum. For 3months you will get 10,000/4 = 2,500 |

I am feeling very terrible having wasted money since the beginning of this year. I made quite some amount from cryptocurrency via bounties I wished I had invested them instead of keeping them in my account and spending them recklessly. Now, I am in for TB and would like any recommendation on the bank with a good interest to start with. Thanks |
