NNPC Tasks Workers On Recession by mrakeli62: 3:01am On Sep 29, 2018 |
The group managing director of the Nigerian National Petroleum Corporation (NNPC), Dr Maikanti Baru, has appealed to workers in the oil and gas industry to sustain the industrial harmony the sector has enjoyed in recent times. Baru reminded the workers that the sector is central to the nation’s economy and was key in helping the country overcome the recent recession, stressing that oil workers owe the country the duty to ensure that the nation does not slip back to the slum. The GMD commended the two national industry unions: the Petroleum and Natural Gas Senior Staff Association of Nigeria (PENGASSAN) and the National Union of Petroleum and Natural Gas Workers (NUPENG), for the exceptional maturity they have displayed at critical moments on issues affecting the industry. He assured that the NNPC would continue to partner the unions in the interest of the nation and the industry workers, saying the corporation’s doors are open to the union leadership to move the sector forward collaboratively. Baru also disclosed that NNPC had 37-day Premium Motor Spirit (PMS), otherwise called petrol, self- sufficiency, assuring that all the corporation’s depots nationwide have abundance of petroleum products to meet the needs of Nigerians and that the depot managers have been put on alert to ensure uninterrupted loading of products in their domains. https://www.akelicious.net/2018/09/nnpc-tasks-workers-on-recession.html

This is how to sustain either a government or an organization. You have to be very diplomatic. Governance is a give and take. You carry every department and sector along. When you start displaying attitudes of autocracy, the people working under you will frustrate your efforts. But if any is working against your agenda and the interest of the country then you can burn its fingers. May God bless the federal republic of Nigeria. Amen. |

Buharifan:My friend over sabi kills. This is not classroom. The marks scored by the op is the situation report from NNPC to the public. . Op is not a journalist. Maybe you want to tell us one useless certificate you bought from one university that can't give you employment in the next 5years. Nonsense 1 Like 1 Share |

The recession is talking about is being created by him. After moving all the money in the in NNPC to the north through scam contracts he is talking fake recession. Which workers is he talking about, he is talking the few southern boibois that are there as fools, stooges and jackals or to the northern multitudes that he has used to occupy NNPC for destructions and recession. Mr Baru, what manipulations are you doing with DPR employment as regards the south that you have turned yourswkf to tin god that without you they wont be employed, yes, recession will continue and you see none to steal as long you are not doing right thing by putting the right people in position. Baru, remember you drink water and its wrath is huge. Do the right thing now because The All Knowing all is watching. As is Muslims/Allah so it is to Christians/Jesus,God's punishments, do the right thing. 1 Like |
