Whatever becomes the outcome of the primary, the true electorate will not forget the footpath he has imprinted on the political dunes. But i had began to sense the expiration of APC and her desperadoes in Lagos. Ambode is trying to destroy their structure.. e.g Abolishing Danfo buses, the drivers form their foot soldiers, Ambode also try to destroy the agberos from osun which Aregbesola has been using to win election in alimosho.
I hate to say this ambode is not among them he could have gone to the mosque to settle it. Please check the APC poster closer to u and confirm the name on it.... I am not surprised that they are really happy to let him go.

Everyone with an interest in politics knows that Tinubu had a problem with Fashola towards the end of his first tenure and was trying to orchestrate his impeachment. Now the cycle is repeating itself. Is the state governor his employee that he can micromanage and dispose of at a whim because he is implementing policy that clashes with his personal interests? This governor work is not something that someone can do if somebody insists on telguiding him somewhere. While an executive is expected to listen to wise counsel, when push comes to shove he has to trust his own judgement and be decisive. His legacy will be how well he served the people not how well he protected the business interests of one man.

If Sanwo Olu wins the primaries tomorrow and manages to win the general elections, I see this scenario playing itself out again in the next 4 years. The job of a governor is not something someone can do if someone somewhere believes that you are an errand boy there to carry out his wishes.

This case between Tinubu vs Ambode reminds me of this story in the Bible

Ahithophel (Tinubu)was a counselor(godfather) of King David(Ambode) and a man greatly renowned for his sagacity. During Absalom's revolt he deserted David (Psalm 41:9; 55:12–14) and supported Absalom (2 Samuel 15:12).

David sent his friend Hushai back to Absalom, in order to counteract the counsel of Ahitophel (2 Samuel 15:31–37). Ahitophel had recommended an immediate attack on David's camp at a point where he was weary and vulnerable (2 Samuel 17:1-2), whereas Hushai suggested that "the advice that Ahithophel has given is not good at this time" (2 Samuel 17:7) and recommended delay while a larger army(election day) was assembled to counter David's alleged strength (2 Samuel 17:11-13). Perversely, "for the LORD had purposed to defeat the good advice of Ahithophel" (2 Samuel 17:14), Hushai's advice was accepted. Seeing that his good advice against David had not been followed due to Hushai's influence, Ahithophel apparently surmised that the revolt would fail. He then left the camp of Absalom at once. He returned to Giloh, his native place, and after arranging his worldly affairs, hanged himself(Backtrack ) , and was buried in the sepulcher of his fathers (2 Samuel 17:23).

what people don't know abt APC governorship primaries is that its two ways solutions for APC and both I don't think its anyway going to favor the wailers and PDP,he ambode isn't facing opposition from only tinubu but most APC machineries both local and high level,its best advised for ambo to endorse the party will,any attempt to defect should he loose primaries will result to his end politically, no way he will defect and won't be impeached,base on he fact that most if not all lawmakers and house of assemblies members are all APC foot soldiers,ambo was power drunk forgotten that time like this will come,lagosians are not fools and not sheep's,the legacy of tinubu in Lagos state is what has paved way for developments in the state and also rendered him godfatherism,that's why he is given a free hand,if ambo who enjoyed from this legacy thinks he could rise and fight the hands that fed him,he is surely gonna be a loser

Unlike Lagos, In Akwa Ibom state there is no political structure outside the party where the Governor is in firm control, but in Lagos, the Mandate Group is more powerful than APC there. They make APC popular prior that they made AD. Today, AD is DEAD.
