It is with a sad and heavy heart i'm typing this. This is my third JAMB attempt pursueing Law. I am not going to go into details but i don't know,maybe life is just unfair. Last year at AAU,Ekpoma ,i beat my school cut off mark but was denied admission maybe due to quota stystem so i was given philosophy which i declined. Please don't judge me. This year,i was 2 marks short Law cut off mark in Delsu. Please,i need your sincere advice on what to do. I am a delta indigene.
======
I feel that if AAU could be considerate in offering supplentary admission list without extra payment unlike Delsu,i am thinking of processing AAU next year.
=====
Honestly,i am not happy with myself and sometimes i just feel like giving up because i just don't know what to do.
I try as much as possible not to compare myself with my mates who are in school already,but i will be lying if i say the gossips don't get to me sometimes.
Please house,i need your advice. I am a passionate 19 year old-Law aspirant. Please,what should i do?l!!!
I understand what you are feeling right now.
If I tell you how many jamb I wrote just because I wasn't cool with what I was studying ehn, after so many years I got it.
I realized something all these years when it is time my bro you just would not put in much effort and you'll be so surprised. Just calm down, keep doing your part. Good a thing you believe in God which makes things easier for you. You know what he is capable of.
Besides it is quite early for you to give up.
Until that final whistle you keep ur hopes high..

My situation now is quite similar to yours,written jamb three times,cutoff released,realizing I'm 10 mks below my cutoff with intensive preparation I put into it can be quite debilitating,but the funny thing is I don't see myself giving up anytime soon grin

Firstly you have to be at ease with yourself knowing that you did your best unless otherwise,if that be the case,try to put in more effort because you can do more,never doubt your abilities cause its all in your mind.

Talking about comparing yourself with others;my dear you're a peculiar person, everyone's race is different,your hurdles might be today,theirs tomorrow but the question now is,Are you able to surpass yours?everyone has got a problem/challenge to fix/overcome at one point in time or the other so face your own life

Get yourself busy with something,I believe you have other interest,develop yourself in it,trust me you won't even have time to get depressed or hear what any gossiper has got to say
Lastly,there's a time and season for everything under the sun,your own job is to keep on giving your best shot and in due time what is yours will surely come.

I can be of bit help but first as someone was went through worst phase I should be in the best position to advice you.
There are different ways to achieve a result. Don't make it's fine you want medicine but when you don't get it, it not wrong you take up the course you are given. You can take up a related course but keep your focus, I know people who kept on writing jamb until 400 level in another department so it has to do with your determination and mind you those knowledge you acquired in that process isn't lost.
My advice is if you are given any other course take it, get into school then take another jamb next year, see your present department as a priority because you could graduate with a first class and go back for direct entry. The truth is medicine is very competitive but if you have the true desire you keep pushing....i have more I could help get you to you career, you can reach me or chat me up with this number 0802 820 9428

My dear, don't give up on yourself but you must be smart to achieve your aims in life. First fight to get admitted this year, subsequently you can get another jamb while you and in school but staying back at home how sure are you that your next jamb would be better than this? Being in school environment can help you in different ways

Thank you sir...but from what i've heard here,they said Delsu doesn't give supplementary admissions to candidates who didn't buy the form. So,how can i fight for admission into the school since i didn't buy the supplementary form?
Please NOTE>> I actually know certain people who bought the form last year and were still not admitted at all. This was what discouraged me from buying it.

Where should I start? Do not be depressed my brother. Maybe fate is bending you to a different direction. There are many routes to the promise land. I will tell you exactly what I did last year and 4years ago, and it's same thing I told my friend about month ago which is about to work for her.

2013, I wrote Jamb, scored low. I applied UNIBEN medcine. But on seeing my score I switched to Delsu where I was given Med Biochemistry. I accepted the admission

2017 in my final year, wrote another Jamb. Applied for Medicine in Delsu. But somewhere along the line I missed Delsu 's post UTME. I randomly switched to Uniport where I was luckily admitted. I'm in 200lv now .the only difference between my 2013 and 2017 self is that I've grown beards grin .

Just last month, a friend of mine who didn't do well in Uniport post UTME switched to Uniabuj after I advised her to do so. Now she has greater chances of getting admission.

I don't know if it's too late but if you could search for an institution that would still accept candidates since u didn't apply for supplementary.

Another expo, Delsu is about to run their pioneer JUPEB program. Since it's the first time, they might be generous with admission. Successful graduates of that problem will qualify for Direct entry. But the program would charge very exorbitant tuition

Please who knows if DELSU has directed those who bought Change of Course form to go and change with JAMB?

They said they'd notify us on when to change with JAMB but I'm yet to see any notification and I'm beginning to get worried...

Someone help me please. Thanks.
