Yea. I believe they go for low capacity batteries because they can provide faster charge capabilities to it ...why spend much on high capacity batteries and faster charge capabilities when you can provide same for low capacity and reduce your production cost undecided

Sgbate:

had the same observation, buh i think its a nice balance if the fast charge is really fast enough.

Thinking .....seem mobile phone manufacturers favor Lower Battery Capacity + Quick Charge functionality over High Battery Capacity + Quick Charge functionality undecided

Rare for you to see High Battery Capacity + Quick Charge phone but quick to see Lower Battery Capacity + Quick Charge and High Battery Capacity + Slow Charge phones ...anyone notice this? undecided
dats the latest trend, if a 3000mah can charge from 0% to 100% in 1hr 20mins i dont c d need for powerbank

Yes o! May be if someone goes there and obtain the franchise to wholly market their products here with their technical support, they would do it. Its not easy for a foreign company to just enter Nigeria like that without some local company fronting them. This is a wakeup call to the likes of Noobody, Mayorall, Protein0, fibonacci2526, macbeyland to mention but few, close rank and set up a company to approach Xiaomi in this regards. I can bet more than 50k (or more) Xiaomi devices have successfully exchanged hands on this thread alone.

And the finance would come from ?

yeah i see aplle, samsung and som OEMs taking avantage of the configuration, and with chips getin mre energy efficient, optimization getin better i dont see the d need 4 a ba3 of mre 3500mah capacities especially if quick charge gets faster aswell.

Please can sumone guide me?

How can I change my IMEI on mi 8 without having issues. So many confusing stuvs online.

Ps. My phone is not rooted.
I am changing becos I'm in a country where i have to pay so much to register any phone bought from abroad. Early this year, I registered the first phone i bought, dont have the huge amount to register mi 8.. about 75k in naira.
Hence, i want both phone to share IMEI or at least use the second imei of thr old phone for my new phone sim 1.
Plenty explanations sha..
Thanks
I know imei numbers could be changed with ease on mtk phones but snapdragon is more complex. So my suggestion to you is to buy a small cheap phone in that country like the equivalent of Nokia torch and use, while you get maybe a mifi for your bigger phones until you enter Naija... Don't tamper with what you don't understand to avoid bricking a 165k phone.

From next month, importation from China will become become like passing through the eye of the needle.

One of my importation boss just warned me not to do any importation then or be prepared to wait two months to get my package

Yea ...that's the idea but they can also come together and offer shares to other willing investors to reduce their financial exposure an make it more attractive to Xiaomi. Remember the likes of UMIDIGI offer their devices for cheap as a promo each time they are launching new models to among other reason ...raise initial funding to go to market with the models. We can do this to lure Xiaomi into our market and get established fully. The device crase is spreading across West Africa. That revolution can begin from Nigeria as the hub.

Is this hub a conducive business environment?

Left to us to make or mar ....no hub was initially created to be 100% conducive, it evolves with time.

Seun is like your typical grandpa, that refuses to switch from analogue radio to DAB.........

He is happy is his present space + mode of operation. Refusing to move with trends....... Change in seun's world, is not constant and flexible. On the flip side, we are all still here regardless and the number is growing daily .....

With all the chukwu chukwu in our environment? To apply for a Managerial job in Mr Biggs, you must be an Msc holder ........ But to be the president or senator, all that is required is WAEC?

Nothing is evolving my dear .............
