Not your fault madam when RCCG turned maga to feed you and your family excessively and you got too fat why won't you talk thrash.

Why didn't you fell out of love when your husband was a very poor lecturer

I don't blame you it's RCCG maga's fault.

So women are permitted to fall out of love?
Exactly my thoughts..Her reasoning is so flawed and shallow. Money should never be used to quantify love or be the sole measure for a successful marriage.

What she said must be placed in context. She first said, cut your coat according to your size, and another statement to the effect that one should be sincere as to his or her status.

She also first said you should get a job before getting married. I believe that the proper interpretation here is that a man should be gainfully employed enough to take care of his home.

which context are u talking about? D contentious statement means that money is a condition 4 love. A man could loose his job in d middle of a marriage & "run out cash". In that case, what happens? D lady will "fall out of love", right?

Pastor Foluke Adeboye, wife of the General Overseer of the Redeemed Christian Church of God (RCCG), Pastor E.A Adeboye, has given marital advice to people who are looking forward to getting married.

According to Pastor Foluke Adeboye, a man needs to get a job before getting married, or else his wife will fall out of love with him when he falls out of cash.

At the day 4 of the Church’s annual youth convention, Pastor Foluke, who is popularly referred to as Mummy G.O, also gave advice to people whose marriage might be facing some crisis.

Below are some points from her sermon which were shared on the Church’s official Twitter account.

So it is because of money she remain in love with Pastor Adeboye

Nigerian women and money sha !!! Even this highly placed and respected woman is not left out of the parasitic mentality

When your ship is taking in water, you dont jump. You just simply grab a bucket.

Money should never ever be precursor to love. Period. Full stop.

Give three Gbossas to that Woman, for being able to call a spade, a spade! Everything she said is bang-on, though it might not be palatable to our ears

Look, we need to face REALITY.

Not just Nigerian women (other women to varying degrees though the Nigerian woman has taken it to unprecedented heights due to their greed) but ALL WOMEN are controlled by MONEY and the Material things Money can buy.

There is a reason, God did not create Woman, immediately he created man because he could have created both of them at once.
HE knew that the Man has to "acquire wealth" so to say, otherwise the Woman will just stray-away if he has nothing to show her as his wealth.
When Eve was finally created, EVERYTHING WAS SET, garden was like today's Mansion, Food was plenty, all animals were named and all WORK was ALREADY DONE, the Woman just "packed-in" to enjoy everything, just like the Women of today insist on a "made-man".

Let us stop blaming women, let us just recognise them for who they are: Materialistic, Opportunistic and Unreliable Sex Partner.
End of story!

And just look at what Eve did immediately Adam was out of sight: She made friend with "another Man", obeyed the starnger even more than her Husband and God.... and brought desolation ot his household and generation.

Somebody should tell me or show me how the "average woman" of today is DIFFERENT from the above discription.
No difference, only 'times' has just evolved and become more sophisticated.

Women are who they are, love them for who they are but be aware of what you are getting into, when you encounter one.
Me, l will always love women but l make "allowance" for their treacherous nature because l know it must come to play, sooner or later
.

That phrase was coined by the White Colonialist who wanted to impose their own way oflife on us, while denying us of the same benefit they get from it.

Our fore-fathers never married one wife so the issue of "For Better, for Worse" does not arise.
The White man who brought tha idea is also a "Serial Philanderer", marrying, divorcing and re-marrying an average of three time in his life time, so where is the For better, For Worse" in that one?

Its all deception, "Do as l say, but Dont do as l Do". grin grin

The Woman has just said the truth, the reality that we are all running away from.

No Leader of Religion ever married a single wife, whether Christian or Muslim so where did the idea come from? Even Pagans dont do so because they all know that Women are materialistic by their very nature and Men are Polygamous, from their very nature,

Though, Mankind has tried to "change" this HUMAN NATURE because they think it is not good but Nature is Nature, it is in the DNA and would always erupt, least when you expect it, no matter how long you suppress it

This is very disappointing coming from a revered pastor's wife. Such comment puts too much pressure on men and drive some to commit crime in other to meet his wife's tastes. It can also drive some wives to commit adultery or file for divorce. She should be encouraging young wives to assist her husband in ways they can. Our religious leaders are the ones indirectly fuelling the immorality and criminality that is growing at an alarming rate.

I must agree with you, I still gradually believing by the day, that religion was brought to Africa as a means to Rob and divide us, else how come the whites are not so religious

And that is why churches have turned business centers, I will not debate on the correctness of her assertion, but it really paints a negative picture

I have been to the redemption camp, and it confirmed to me that it's just another business center under the umbrella of religion

Blessed woman of God.

Maybe its not as it is stated here in social media. I'm sure she (cos she was married her husband in poverty for a good number of years) did not mean it as its been put here!

People are actually falling out of cash today through no fault of theirs. Imagine that even 150k cannot sustain a family today! But love keeps waxing strong.

Let's be wise. Money is not everything.
Re: Foluke Adeboye: When You Fall Out Of Cash, Your Wife Will Fall Out Of Love by Daboomb: 4:55pm On Oct 04, 2018
Most people here are making one mistake, thus mis-interpreting what the Mummy G.O has said.

When she says "MONEY", she is not just referring to CASH.

MONEY in the context of her statement, stands for EVERYTHING OF COMFORT.

Remove COMFORT from ANY Marriage and see if that Marriage will not collapse very qucikly.

Women are created IN Confort, FOR Comfort..and they do provide some COMFORT to the male
.
That is the very NATURE of WOMEN.

That is why God did not create a Woman, when there was WORK to be done in the Garden but created her ONLY when all the WORK was COMPLETED, God has rested and the garden was now COMFORTABLE.
Just sit back and ask yourself: Why create the Woman when everything was "set", when Adam was instructed at one stage to take care of the garden (work), to name all the living things (Work), e.t.c" Why was the woman not created to assist him from the beginning?
Think about it.

Are you surprised that Women just love Comfort?
Are you surprised they just hate to stay anywhere, as long as the Comfort has disappeared?

Think about how many men are comfortable and marry, then when they run into financial trouble and the comfort disappears, the wife runs away sharp-sharp but if the Man later in life makes a comeback and has Money to buy all the Comfort back, she is begging to come back and blames her initial decison to run, on the Devil grin grin

MONEY = COMFORT = MONEY.

Mama G.O knows what she is saying and she is 101% CORRECT,

Let's be wise. Money is not everything.

Point of correction!

She did not marry her husband in POVERTY... He may not be stinkingly rich yet but she married him a graduate, with "POTENTIAL-CERTAIN" to be RICH...and he is rich as expected!

SMART Women knows that POTENTIAL si what you look for in a man ...and a Graduate of Mathematics in thos days surely has POTENTIAL.

Anyone with Potential is already Rich because it is Potential that brings Money (except in these 'Buhari days' of Ritual money
grin grin )

Why would she marry a graduate, when she could have married a lazy young man who plays Baba Ijebu/NairaBet all day, doing nothing else? undecided undecided

Women equates Marriage to COMFORT, MONEY BRINGS COMFORT and any Man with POTENTIALS, will eventually have MONEY
Its a simple equation

She did not make the statement in isolation, she said other things. Collectively, these provide a context for as to what she was talking about. She was specifically talking to people who don't have jobs but want to get married.
