Do you think moving to areas outside Dublin will help as regards expenses?

It could but you ultimately spend more on Transportation

No win, Win situation then

But somewhere like Cork will have jobs that can fend for one too or what do you think?

I don't think one has a choice though. NY, London, Sydney, Lagos, Toronto are equally expensive but opportunities are concentrated there also

I doubt if any of the questions you asked hasnt been answered. The fact is that most people are still settling down, understanding the land and facing the reality on ground. Ask specific questions and be sure to get answers. The Land is cool, weather is getting colder by the day. There are opportunities for student jobs. The house is boring? Well, you can also spice it up. Lolxx.

Make sense. Everything is done based on appointment. You want to see your lecturer, do your immigration registration, you got to book an appointment..

The transport system is entirely different from the Nigerian kind of system. The buses for every route have been scheduled. If you miss your bus, you will have to wait for some minutes to get the next one or look for alternative route .

OK Blessed
I may not be tempted to ask what the opportunity of getting a job after schooling looks likes. But what of the normal working and schooling kind of jobs, how easy it is getting...

Nothing in life is easy. The fact that you'll see many recruitment adverts doesn't mean all will accept you. But with tenacity and hardwork, you will get one. But there are hurdles to scale before you can start applying for jobs, that's the immigration ish.
Re: GENERAL Irish (student)visa & Work Permit-New THREAD*** by Nobody: 11:24pm On Sep 30, 2018
Hurdles? Isn't the immigration registration process supposed to be a normal/regular exercise?

To the OP and all who have contributed to this thread, thanks and GOD bless you.

My question is does Ireland schools have a fast-track program i.e. direct PhD from BSc?

Who else is applying for PhD here?
Any current PhD student can as well share their experience and useful tips. Thanks

Most times, you only find direct PhD programs in the US. I don't think Ireland schools offer such. Do your research, Google should help.

The immigration process is normal/regular exercise. But getting the appointment isnt easy. They release dates twice in a day on their platform. You can imagine what happens when thousands of people are logged in to the site just to book a date. Only few will get it per day.
