NAIROBI GUYS at work again, Mad people. Sorry bro kindly order ur GCMS note before re-applying and try re-applying through online to avoid our "beloved" Nairobi guys. 18 weeks and still got refused, this people are sick.

Let him not waste his time for that GCMS rubbish because nothing different from the normal generic reasons already given to him. He should just tackle the points raised. I guess the main area to tackle is the area of purpose of visit.

Is there a way for me to know which embassy is processing my application. I've been hearing Nairobi guys, and I just want to be sure my application is not with them. I submitted online.

From my observation here..

I think it's only the paper route that's been handled by the Nairobi guys..

Not sure, just what I've been reading..

I predicted it, because 60% of people who got refuser are applying again.

Refusal reasons were based on family ties in Canada & country of residence and purpose of visit.
I really dont get this guys, got admitted for MSc in Sociology, U of M. Have a Bsc in Sociology and currently working as a field officer in a development program. All family ties are here in Nigeria none whatsoever in Canada.

Guess my GCMS file will shade more light on the VO's point of reasoning.

Just thought I should update the house!

Kenya those guys are sick. Sorry bro. Just apply again asap

Welcome to Part 15, I believe this part will be filled with milk and honey. My advice please don't limit yourself to only Canada, because nobody understands our brothers in London and our over aged sister's in Kenya.

Proof of English language proficiency may be required for international applicants and for applicants whose first language is not English

Most likely to be in London. That office has been processing a bunch of online applications lately and there is also chance that it's in Lagos, cus Lagos has been replying some correspondences also.

Apply for exemption based on WHED criteria. Send a mail to the grad school and it'll be done.

This above is under the assumption that you finished your degree in a Nigerian university.

Present but I'm a PhD prospective. The application is smooth and you'll even get an institutional email address as an applicant. Which department did you apply to?

Just to lend my voice too to the Paper route/Kenya issh. Truth be told, those guys must have some agendas they are pursuing. I got a refusal lately based on "Purpose of visit - the least of the reasons to give.

I'm typing this message just in case anyone may think it's because we didn't do our homework well. That's not true. Those guys are up to something but God pass them.

The online route may be tardy but it's quite better. God will require my app fee from their pockets grin

By the way, I remain undeterred. Reapplying soon!

Please gurus in the house,
I have chosen to apply to University of Western Ontario as my number one choice.

However, I want to apply to two Canadian universities, so I am thinking of choosing between University of Manitoba and University of Victoria.
Please which of the two is easier to get admission. Which of the two has higher acceptance rate?

I have a family friend residing in Canada who is willing to use his papers to get me a work permit visa (don't know how that works, by the way) and also ready to let me stay with him for a few weeks till I find my feet. Says I could work for a year or so (to get some money) and then apply for a Pgd.

Please, how feasible is this?

It is very possible. It is called "Permanent Resident Nomination". If the person in Canada is your direct sibling or cousin, it is 100% legal and guaranteed. If otherwise, I can't really say much
