I understand why mother of the bride stayed away. It will not be easy for her considering :
Lagos is not her turf. All the ladies she accused of having inappropriate relationship with her ex-hudnand will be there live.it won't be easy for her at all.

She will be harassed by journalists for interviews. It will not be easy for her to avoid all. We know how Nigerian journalists snd bloggers are.

She might end up stealing the shine of her girls day since she has never been in Nigeria for a long time, most blogs, reoorters will concentrate on getting her pictures and interview.

Her absence is causing such a buzz, imagine what her presence would have done.

No reason is good enough to rationalize a mother's absence at her daughter's wedding. Well unless of course she was bedridden and clinically indisposed.

She just ended up showing everyone else that she doesn't let go of grudges, quite ironic for a so-called "minister of God".

All that talk about journalists harassing her doesn't fly at all, we know how these people move around. With all the armed security, no one would have come within 10ft of her if she didn't want it.
