It (tribal difference) is not “one of”, it is the main underlying problem that fuels all other problems including corruption. And the end of it is clearly not in sight. Especially as parents do the self assigned honor of impressing it upon their children how the other tribes are so evil; and theirs is the only good and wonderful tribe that has no faults.

It is also the major reason why PMB missed the mark by a landslide; chanting / chasing corruption while neglecting to do away with tribal / sectional politics that is the father and main contributor to the survival of corruption. Even non tribalists are forced to align after several failed attempts at downplaying tribe.

Without tribal supporters, corrupt persons who stole the people blind would have no hiding place!
