once you meet all their admission requirements and your documents are complete, it takes less than a month for them to give you admission

What up with job prospects
there's an ideology about no job for Nigerians which is very true. But there are and it's limited. If you attend educational fare you can mix up and get connected. Not everyone in Malaysia are here to study. I work as an HR with Cinga in KL and i have a few people in Taylor University who didn't get jobs here but in Singapore and South Korea...it's easier for me because i can speak malay and with the reference of a professor. They don't like blacks especially Nigerians, some will give you jobs of rm9 per/hr in KL convention center. I'll just say study get your certificate and move to Canada or better countries that will appreciate you. I don't know about other Universities but my uni every graduation some delegate from the Nigerian embassy come over to meet with Nigerian graduates.

Cheers

I see from the thread a lot of people are having issues with public universities. Why don’t you try accredited private universities or colleges. They do most of the application for you and admission is out in few days and some that same day.

Though tuition is a bit expensive but some are very cheap.

For example i did my Masters (course work) in Westminster international college (Cardiff Metropolitan University Uk certificate) it took me 1yr (MBA). Tuition is about Rm21,000 as at 2016 and I got a refund of Rm2000 after I graduated

After graduation I’m currently running my PHD in Limkokwing University. Tuition RM13,900 excluding miscellaneous charges.

In summary, if you can afford a private university please apply for a private uni it will save you the stress of EMGS process and so on. Also do your research well not all private universities are recognized abroad. So be mindful.

Cheers

Yes private uni is very expensive compared to public universities.

public universities are far better than private ones
It varies public universities are better because they have varieties of course/career. Unlike Private they have few but the few they have is better. It's like comparing MBA of Bricksfield or Taylor or Monash with Putra Business School/UPM of which some of this private universities are UK, Australian certificate....Or example course like aeronautics, robotics eng you can't find them in private universities but in public.

I graduated from UPM, my friend who graduated from Inti uni got a job with hays recruitment company because is certificate is 3+0 and mine is local so it can be very funny. The locals don't look at "top best uni" or "best uni in malaysia" they look at what you have.

certified documents are documents that are stamped and signed by the awarding institution.

public universities are better in terms of cost of study and speedy processing of your documents by the immigration

It’s a good school but private, they moved from KL to cyberjaya...Their certificates are from UK both degree and Masters, though it’s expensive...they’re accredited with ministry of education in Malaysia and EMGS. So it’s between good - average.

I don't understand your question. "Without the need of A levels".... Most private universities accept Waec, Neco also Waec Gce. I am just hearing for the first time that a university in Malaysia needs A-levels and not Bsc.

If you are looking for a cheap University for Bsc you can goto UPM or other public University, but if you are looking for cheap private universities they're few but their courses are limited and they only require Waec, Neco also Waec Gce.... Ftms is good another cheap university is Westminster (London School of Commerce) it's a business school. They only have Business courses. Tuition for the 3 years is £5950 apart from Rm4500 (Visa fees and bond deposit). Students have their 2 years in Malaysia and their final year in London. I did my MBA in this College and currently enrolling my brother here too, so i'm 100 about this school. www.westminster.edu.my for further information.

cheers

You can write to the school explaining why you don't require TOEFL (e.g , Nigeria being an English speaking country).
I did my Bsc without sitting for TOEFL. I recently applied for masters and TOEFL was waived.
The test of English is mainly for people who apply from non-english speaking countries like Indonesia,Pakistan,Iran etc.

Please always write he admin of the uni or dean of the faculty you are applying to find out more.

I think you should keep asking those boys from your hood or make a visit to Malaysia to see things for yourself.

Good Luck Brotha
