The "Atiku Will Win In The North" Debate by Yareema22(m): 11:54am On Oct 10, 2018
I have observed recently how some people(who are mostly from the SE) keep creating threads with half-baked analysis on how Buhari will lose the forth coming elections especially in the North. Some even went as far as saying Buhari will lose in states like Kano,Katsina and Bauchi(these are states he's never lost an election since 2003)without backing their silly arguments with any fact.Everybody is entitled to his opinion and or belief. However, when it comes to matters like this,it is expected that one will be objective and keep sentiments aside...how can someone sitting in his fathers compound in Enugu or Abakaliki and has never set his feet outside his immidiate sorroundings confidently claim that Buhari will lose an Election in a core Northern state? Some of the reasons for their baseless claims are:
1.That the election is going to be between Atiku and Buhari. That both candidates are Fulani,Muslims and both come from the North.
If theres any one who's conversant with the politics of the North will know that an average Northener considers Atiku as a corrupt individual who is only interested in the presidency to further enrich himself and not for the interest of his people...Atiku may be popular among the elites but to the "Talakawas"he's the personification of corruption and is never an option
2.That Atiku has achieved alot during his stint as the VP.
Well,i dont even know where to start from...in terms of infrastructure,Atiku has not done anything whatsoever especially in the NE geopolitical zone where he comes from...If you have ever plied the road linking Gombe to Adamawa you will will know what iam saying.Atiku was not the president.Agreed.But he was a VP for eight years wihout nothing to show for it.He should have used his position to attract federal projects/presence to his zone or atleast to his home state but neither witnessed any meaningful projects.
3.That Atiku has created 50,000 jobs.
This is a lie from the pit of hell...people will just wake up and concoct figures without telling you where they got their data or stats from...the total number of work force in all of Atikus privately owned businesses(AUN, Faro,radio/tv Gotel,Rico Gado, etc) is not up to that figure flying around on social media...and lest i forget, most of these businesses are run on government resources
4.That Atiku has a strong war-chest.
There's no denying that Atiku is rich but you can only use that to campaign in the SS/SE region...despite Atiku Dollerizing the APC's presidential primaries in 2015 he came a distant third, behind even Kwankwaso who came second...Atiku's dollers have never won him any election in the North, and 2019 is not going to be an exception.
To set the records clear, from 2003-2015,Buhari has always won in virtually all the core Northern states with the exception of Adamawa and Taraba(wich has always been a PDP State) with very wide margings and the reason why he failed to win the presidential elections in previous contests wasbecause he was not massively voted for in other regions and not because the North did not vote for him
On a final note, those shouting that Atiku will floor Buhari in the North(especially the NE and NW)should save their MB and energy and use it to campaign for Atiku in other regions because here in the North, the deal to keep Buhari in Aso rock untill 2023 is alredy agreed and wraped up and will be made official come Feb2019 when he will officially sign his contract extention that will keep him in Aso rock for another four years.

Buhari has now been tested and he failed woefully.

Anybody bringing up old indices when everyone actually thought Buhari was the Messiah is just being naive

majority of those commenting on these thread have no feeler and understanding whatsoever regarding the political mindset of an average core northerner , most of these political analyst perceptions and opinions are base on emotional tendencies, ignorance and hatred for Buhari, rather than any logical and rational disposition

its baffling and perplexing when I see a southerner that has never stepped out of enugu state, arguing and analysing political nature and mentality in the core north, the audacity and confidence!! these are kind of people you can't debate with, because they are full of emotions and ignorance..its only an nyamuri that will fabricate a lie, convince himself and then feel good about it

it's only nyamuri flat.head on this forum that will claim political awareness in your state more than you

Buhari is like a demi-God in core north, his name has been embedded and ingrained within us since birth, I doubt if even Othman dan fodio has as much followers as he does

North West 18m votes
Buhari will most definitely clear the whole state of NW, and with over 18m votes, he will get nothing less than 70%..taking care of whatever votes Atiku will get from SS/SE even in the likelihood of ATIKU getting 100% votes

North East 10m votes
the only state I don't see buhari winning here is Taraba, but he will get a margin of 60% votes here

North Central 7m votes
Buhari will probably win atiku in kogi, Niger and kawarra..whatever the scenario is, he will get 50%

Same with Central mosque.. and parks..

Except almajiris..and few traders ..loyal to sheakaru and ganduje.

Same with kastina..
Even in daura..

Kastina host pdm..of shehu yaradua..close alliy of Atiku ..Atiku will secure 40perc of votes over dia..

Bauchi I going PDP..
The governor is a strong Ally of Atiku and election rigging and manipulation will be much curtailed.

Sokoto..
You guys keep shouting wamako ..but we all know the establishment over dia is not working for APC..same with most emir's..except for gombe emir's and few others.

Don't come online and to decieve zombies why claiming north..

The student population iin the north as of today is divide 50/50.. between both.

Atiku is cutting the entire northern Nigeria vote . With Powe of incumbency..63/37.

And this you know very very well..so don't think everyone online is zombie..wey dey oshogbo..dey permutate rubbish..

We still have non indigenes..who are going 80/20 on Atiku..

We know propaganda and we feel it.

Northern Christians are saying no to buhari ..same with the shites..

Now tell me who your selling this propaganda to?
