There has been some clarity about Nigeria’s 2019 presidential election, with the end of the October 7 deadline set by the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) for the conduct of party primaries at all levels. On Saturday, the ruling All Progressives Congress (APC), at its convention held in Abuja, ratified the choice of incumbent President Muhammadu Buhari as its flagbearer, with a curious vote tally of 14.8 million. President Buhari and his supporters have continuously left no one in doubt that they intend to have a second shot at power and office. The number of party members across Nigeria who endorsed the Buhari candidacy has however raised eyebrows. 14.8 million! In the 2015 elections, that was a little less than the same number of total votes that the incumbent got in a nationwide general vote. What is the actual number of persons on the party’s membership register – 15.6 million? Concerned observers have argued that this is an indication of the determination of the ruling party to rig the 2019 presidential elections, in favour of a 75-year old candidate to whom they insist, there is no alternative. The no-alternative talk is, of course, the height of sycophancy and the extent of its idiocy has now been exposed.https://www.reubenabati.com.ng/index.php/component/k2/item/13749-2019-atiku-vs-buhari-reuben-abati

Another word for 'atikulate' is 'strategic' From north to south from east to west, the young and old and even amongst the APC ruling party atikulization have been resurrected. An era for the end of lifelessness have come. |

Nigerians should wake up. Apc is planing the worst for us next year. How can buhari accumulate over 14 million votes only in primaries, how many votes did he win Gododluck Jonathan with last presidential elections ? For him to accumulate over 14 million fake votes means that next years election he would amass over 80million votes. We should be wise and prepare to counter their evils. |

I swear I tried , I tried my best to read but the more I try the more I remember how I am earning below my worth, the more I remember many people I am supposed to help but I can't because I don't have the means, the more I remember all the politicians are thieves and whatever they do is for their selfish interest and they careless about the masses, the youths and the unemployed graduates. How can I read this whole epistle when I know at the end of the day my landlord will still come and tell me to pay rent even before it's due, when I know the children of those politicians are abroad in big schools and I am here saving through my ass to get a common masters degree ? How can I read those epistles when I know even the writer is also a thief and is looking for his daily bread ? Nigeria is dead the only resurrector is REVOLUTION. The old political thieves should be flushed out!!!! |

Even in South West, Tinubu only have the loyalty of his party members and not the whole of Lagosians! Tinubu's major tool is RIGGING! Nothing more! No one in his or her right mind will vote Buhari when we can try a new hand like Atiku! Buhari has being lying even before elections! He made promises he knew he did not intend to keep! That is dis-honourably against any positive campaign for him! If he can't keep his words then what is the probability that he will keep it now ![]() His ministers are of questionable characters! Currently, on social media, and even with those I discuss with, it's 50 to 1 people in favour of Atiku. I've never seen Nigerians more united to support/oppose any cause. Yet, these APC demons still talk confidently about winning the elections. Only yesterday, I read the minister of lies say he's "confident Nigerians would make the right choice", which is Buhari to him of course. While they should be remorseful for their failed agendas (who knows, maybe this was their agenda anyway), they talk with so much impunity, they do not want any form of criticism. Never under the past governments did I hear of hate speech, fake news.... Even those who have come out to peacefully protest couldn't do so without threats of sabotage. So we should just keep on taking garbage for governance, without uttering a word, like zombies we're not. They have false confidence, because they already have plans to rig the general elections, knowing fully well they stand no chance in a free and fair election. |
