The Senate has approved N234.51 billion for the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC). The approved sum is about N7.9 billion less than the N242.45 billion requested by President Buhari. The Senate also approved that the total sum of N189 billion which will be for the funding of the 2019 elections be moved from both recurrent and capital components of the special intervention programme. https://www.channelstv.com/2018/10/11/breaking-senate-approves-n234-51bn-for-inec/?utm_source=FB&utm_medium=ChannelsTv&utm_campaign=SNAP%2Bfrom%2BChannels+Television 2 Likes |

Good for our democracy. Saraki knows when to play politics and when to put national interests first. Now that the budget has been passed, they should please give us credible election. 2 Likes |

By the time this money is divided for the total population of Nigeria, every body will be rich, but this is Nigeria, we value election more than the well being of the citizens, we can even kill for it. #there-is-money-in-Nigeria 3 Likes |

Instead of wasting money on an election that will probably be rigged and declared inconclusive. There are presently 200 Nigerians living in Nigeria. INEC should just share the money N130 to each person. Person wey wan use him play bet9ja go play. Person wey wan use am do Tfare for im olosho go use am. If na N70 bread, N50 beans and N10 pure water, at least man chop. If you use your own buy airtime call your village people, na your wahala be that. I rest my case. 2 Likes |
