South East VS South West Voting Strength, Comparing Actual Votes (2011 And 2015) by diebuhari1: 7:17pm On Oct 11, 2018
2011 Total votes Casted

SOUTH-WEST 4,613,712
SOUTH-EAST 5,072,321

SOUTH-SOUTH 6,118,608

2015 Total votes Casted

SOUTH-WEST 4,539,707
SOUTH-EAST 2,824,348

SOUTH-SOUTH 5,226,291

South East had about 400,000 more votes than South West in 2011.
South West had about 1.7million more votes than South East in 2015. This is despite the South west having one extra state, the cosmopolitan Lagos (combination of all tribes including Igbos)

South South had more votes than the South west in both elections, but you never hear of them beating their chest about voting strength.

That was during the Era of manual voting where all kinds statistical harakiri were carried out in the South East.

Ogbonna Ubani will you shut up? Was there manual voting in 2015 also, why was the difference just 1.7 million? Why did the South South have more votes than the South west despite all there noise about voting strength?

I really like this your comment....
The true God allowed Buhari to win simply to let us know that no humans can solve our problem. Many were putting complete hope in Buhari as messiah but what can be said now?.....

God is always higher than humans.....sometimes we humans need to learn via a hard way......Had it been GEJ won the election and all this things were happening, we will be saying that "had Buhari won, he would have done better".....

But now we have leant the hard way, so God will intervene and reveal more things to we stubborn humans.....

RESPECT TO BABA GOD, even my dogs dey bow down give God...

Turnout in SW in 2015 was about 32%, compared to SE of 45% and SS of 66% (Son of the soil factor). The North always have average of about 50% turnout.
With low voters turnout in governorship elections in SW recently, about 25%, during Osun and Ekiti elections, coupled with the fact that the South are not having serious presidential candidate,.... The battle field of 2019 elections remains the North. The candidate with superior popularity will win.

I don't expect higher voters turnout for example 66% recorded for GEJ from SS to happen in 2019....Same for other regions of the South

OP what's your actual goal target for this post? Anyway! If at all there will be anything like 2019 election, this time around SE and SS combined will not exceed 200 votes which will definitely come from apc foot soldiers, their families and their sycophants.

The target is to show that the voting strength being touted around by Yorubas is just another of their propaganda, similar to the 'most sophiscated' and 'most educated' propaganda.

What sort of lies is this? Ipob did a election boycott during the 2015 election SE and some areas in SS had the lowest turnout in all past election because of it. I don't understand how some of you just lie with such boldness

If he is, abeg can you find out why he pretends to be female when he is actually male? Is he a selfhating gay? grin

Also find out why he loathes the Igbos so much even as Ibo, is he a self-hating mental retard? grin

He is male yet he hates being male. cheesy

He bears an Ibo name yet hates Ibos. cheesy

Something is definitely not right with his mental department, even his picture says a lot about his mental competence. Be like who get down syndrome. I am following. grin

When I read the comments of my.fellow igbo brothers here, I feel like crying. We have again adopted Atiku as our son as we adopted Jonathan and nothing to show for it. Politics is local and igbos have nothing on the table from Atiku. Even the VP ticket we are not sure.
Our politics is very bad.

Just because you Yorubas are too clueless to actually learn anything does not mean the rest of us are. I keep hoping the Yorubas on this site isn't the representative of actual real Yoruba. If not, the claim about being educated about you people is far fetched

As seeing that ipob radio was playing in River State in 2014, only a fool believe they started in 2015. Not everyone have hate in their heart and have to tell themselves propaganda and lies everyday.
