SE and SS has been loyal to PDP for over 16yrs without betrayal, so any mistake of choice from Atiku might see him lose vote from SE and SS.
Not to APC but to other small parties.
He will lose SE completely to APGA.
And SS can opt to vote their brother Donald Duke.

For your information, based on Lagos census figures, which was conducted by Tinubu when he was governor of Lagos in defiance to Federal census figures; 52% of the people in lagos are igbo, that is why everytime there is an election in lagos, agbaje always takes his campaign to Ohaneze and the Obi of onitsha. This is also why ACN/APC Lagos created an igbo youth wing within the party and also ensures that their is always one igbo man in their cabinet in the Lagos state government.

What I believe Nigeria/Atiku needs is concerted efforts backed up with international endorsements plus some Esusu from those private conglomerates that want to see some bad economic policies go.

Dr Nkonjo Iweala is that person. The only problem is that she is uninterested in local politics, I know that much. That is where Baba iyabo can be useful.

If Atiku listens to only politicians when choosing a running mate he will loose. I have already sent Alhaji Atiku my proposal.

He should send a delegation to Dr Iweala's parents (they will convince her from the back end), then send Baba Iyabo and Dr Goodluck will convince her from the front end.

If it leaks that pressure is on her, IFO (international finance organisation) will back, pressurise and endorse her instantly.

The debt profile of Nigeria is too high, they need someone that will make sure that their money comes out from Nigeria. Except for china, they need the debt to subjugate us, just like they are doing to Zambia and Djibouti.

As I speak to you, Chinese police officers have been sworn in, in Zambia to oversee the police force, the mines and the international airport are up for grabs. ZESCO that supplies power to 80% of the entire country is now fully under the control of the Chinese government. All because of huge debt obligations that Zambia can't meet anymore.

Nobody has cult-followership in the east.
No easterner has such clout that you implied, south east is peculiar. it is an acephalous region. The only easterner that enjoyed such followerhip and acceptance across five eastern states recently, was Nnamdi KANU, but he is no politician.
Any high profile name form the east that is not openly opposed to restructuring or Biafra, could sell.

The VP will defintely be one of the above, and when i say "clout" i don't mean one with a cult followership but one who fit's into the criteria for the VP as outlined by Atiku and PDP

Atiku should go for a south west running mate (a popular person). Whose influence will garner reasonable votes that will boost his chances of winning the presidential elections.

He might not be bittered but certainly myopic. Truly, south easterners dont seem to be ready for presidency and they need to work on that. Pet them work on that before 2023, that warning is very important. VP can go to west or east, preferably east for better transitional process come 2023 but it may still help PDP to garner support in the sw if it comes from there.
But se must prepare herself very well and position self for presidency come 2023. They should sacrifice anything and everything for that time and come up with the Goodman. I'm seeing light then and not now!

Post of VP in the electioneering period does not really require that much fame or popularity, osinbajo was not very popular as at 2015 and buhari still won the race. Infact, some people were calling him a mere commissioner!
That being mentioned, osita might be unpopular but coming from SE is a strategy for the nation to position itself for greatness, easy transitional process and adequate handing over come 2023 if you know what I mean.
I don't want to hear all these popular names Abeg, they are just famous but of no reqiured result in eventuality. Osita or what's he called can use that position to gain more experience and expand his coast but must be loyal to his boss. That was the reason I hated Atiku but since obj has forgiven, who am I to be adamant even though, they are all untrustworthy but buhari has not helped me to hate them more.
Still on osita; NOI would have been my preferred candidate but I dont think Nigeria is ready for ladies show for now. We are not mature for now. Me am not placing my hope on Atiku seriously or his tenure if he emerges as the president come 2019 but the person he is handing over to come 2023 matters more to me. Apart from coming from the SE, he/she must be very strong, charismatic and ruthless.
NOI is not ruthless, she is soft hearted, she is a mum.
She displayed that in 2011 January during the crisis of fuel subsidy removal, she was convincing Nigerians through a means of emotions but eventually, there was no positive result in what they campaigned for back then. She was a loyal person to her boss but sanusi needed to hit the nail on the head at a point in time. Mama Taraba is also an example of people that can confront the useless and reckless frontiers we claim to have in Nigeria.
Seriously, we need to detach from those old cargoes and foot a new flag and the process might start with this guy. All he needs to do is to start taking course on good leadership all around the world, from now. And you will find out that the messiahic prowess lies in him.

I know the unnecessary suffering this Osita caused just to change plate numbers in terms of the amount charged.
My parents cars number plates had to be changed.
As far as I am concerned there was no reasonable reason for the amount charged to change plate numbers especially the last one that was done where the only difference was the Nigerian map on the plate number and also reversing some alphabets.

Its very likely that Osita Chidoka will be picked as Atiku's running mate and these points buttress my opinion.

1. Osita has been a son to Obj since 2009 when he appointed him to head the FRSC. Most events at OOPL Abeokuta always had Osita in attendance and a close sit with Baba.

2. Obj in recent times has clamoured for the South East to get a bite at the national cake especially the presidency.

3. Osita has been unusually close with Atiku's in recent times.

4. With the recent blessing from Baba he will want to have an input into Atiku's government and who better to represent him than Osita.

This is not leaving out the intellectual sagacity of Osita and his innovative ideas, he's young and relatively experienced in politics, he will be the best fit going forward.
