Well... Well.. Well ..

After a long silence since the world cup, Iwobi, Etebo, Kalu, Onyeakuru have finally given me something to smile about

Iwobi today was everything we wish either Mikel or Etebo was at the world Cup

Sleek and pin point defense splitting passes!!

Iwobi was the "connecting rod" between our Attack and midfield... You can take this statement to the bank any day.

If he had played these same AM ie Mikel's position against Croatia, they would have had their hands full

Boy's got eagle eyes for the final third ball

In him also I saw Ebere Eze...

Ebere Eze is a complete replica of Iwobi and should be draft in ASAP to deputize for him

In a nutshell, I think our team is getting there!!!

I say this because a new generation of sleeky, crisp and deadly players are being ushered into the SE while the era of those disjointed, and uncoordinated players are gradually being faded out.

In the past we had a Super eagles squad players who couldn't trap, control, coordinate or string one to two passes together but in this era we are beginning to have players who have seamless control of the ball.

I mean, look at Etebo, he rarely loses the ball whenever he gets it except he is fouled. His ball control is top notch... Same for ndidi

Ola aina eased himself into the game after the initial first half fidgeting, in the second half, I saw the reason why he is miles better than Shehu as a Full back. Dude was a beauty to watch with his movements and attacking runs

I hope these lads develop into the kind of players I pray for the SE going into the future....

Anyways

Its too early to call

Oga, those players that cannot trap the ball won an AFCON and got to the second round of the World Cup. You can say the team is improving but they are nowhwere near what we had before. Fact be say none of our current wingers today can bench Osaze back then, all of our strikers would not even be getting invites, I mean Joseph Akpala better pass some of them if not all. A fit Obasi Ogbuke is EASILY better than Samuel Kalu and Ahmed Musa, no be mouth. Those are players you are saying cannot trap a football, smh

For once I TOTALLY AGREE WITH YOU.

Because Nigerians are quick to forget. The same Atiku being touted as a savior has his whole self soiled in corruption scandals.

Also, Nigerians can be greedy. Most if these youngsters whose names have been mentioned here may be bribed tomorrow by Atiku et al to forgo ambition. Kingsley moghalu, NOI, adesina, SANUSI aren't exactly saints

Really happy for one man - Odion Jude Ighalo.

He has finally repaid Rohr for his unwavering trust.

In my opinion, neither Atiku or Buhari is good enough. They should both retire. We are seeing the refurbishment of Atiku already. Painting him as this great dude, we are setting ourselves up for failure.

As regards Trump, he has not done anything special... The economy has been on the rise for years. If anything, he is placing tariffs that are already affecting businesses.

if neither Atiku nor Buhari is good enough, who is good enough?

That is how AIG said neither Ighalo nor Kelechi is good enough, that we need someone else. Oya, who be the good enough person?

If you mention Oby, she has baggage. Durotoye has baggage, same as Sowore and Moghalu. Who else is there?

Make I vote Atiku the thief? And do you expect me to vote for Peter Obi who displayed his tribal trait during 2009/2011 election?

The worst is expected from both. grin

Nigerians put themselves where they are today.

It is you people that are the cause of your own misfortunes and you have sworn to drag yourselves further down to become a laughing stock. At least under Obj/Atiku, Nigerians still had a semblance of respect in the international community, today, there is nobidy that does not make mockery of us. The day you want to insult a Ghanaian on social media, they will remind you that a dullard is your President and you are nobody in the scheme of things. You are the butt of every rotten joke in the international community. No be OBJ/Atiku do you. Today, your Passport is as useless as tissue, nobody wants you in their country, even Tanzania has withdrawn their own Visa at the airport that they were offering you, is it OBJ/Atiku that did it to you?

You are talking as if we were not in the Nigeria, when that aviation minister under this administration started that scam Nigeria Air and sunk billions of dollars into a white elephant project. Was that OBJ/Atiku?

Was it under OBJ/Atiku that a Minister said that graduates of Medicine should go and become farmers and tailors?

Was it OBJ/Atiku that went to borrow billions from China and made Nigeria poverty capital of the world?

Atiku is a business owner and has employed more people in this country that Buhari can ever do.

Under OBJ/Atiku, the Naira was trading at 150 to a dollar....today, what is the exchange rate?

Under OBJ/Atiku, petrol was #65 per litre, how much is it today?

Thank God I have my own PVC ready to, of course, being that Nigeria is filled with idiots and mad people I fully expect Buhari to win, but it doesn't mean sensible people like me cannot try to save the rest of you.
Mad hypocrites. A nation of thieves making corruption an issue when we are all thieves.

mind you i studied political science in my first degree from the university of Benin...I am also a political analyst and a writer.

there is hardly something you gonna tell me new about these men I don't know of...if i should tell you about buhari rule in the 80s you will even think I was grown up then.

please...
tell me something else...
you supporting buhari is not new to me would have been surprised you support atiku... a friend of mine who happened to come from the south west told me this morning that only a detribalized Yoruba man will vote for atiku of which I doubt you fall into
A lot of people down here don't care about your tribe forget nairaland. The average Yoruba man and woman just want to be able to cater for there needs and that is so so difficult during dis Bihari regime. In a free and fair election next year ATIKU will surely win Osun, Oyo and Ogun state( SDP and ADC will be voting PDP candidate during the general election).

Most of Nigeria is corrupt. From Buhari down to the cleaners and security guards, thieves everywhere. Is it Atiku collecting 'sorting money' from Students in schools? Is it Atiku paying kickbacks for contracts? Is it Atiku that is scamming foreigners on the internet daily? The same people who will call the likes of Shina Peller entrepreneurs, will come and call Atiku corrupt.

The level of corruption in this country is so deep that one is seen as abnormal when they fail to partake of it. Yet, the same people will come here and tell us Atiku is corrupt as if everybody isn't trying to scam the next person.

You want Nigeria to be better, but keeping Buhari is our best option? Does that not say a lot of us that we will throw away two businessmen for someone who is barely coherent. A man that has failed to address the Nation in three years, a man who has visited London more times than he has visited places like Jos and Benue that are just minutes away from him? What kind of President is he and what kind of person votes for such a man?

None of these guys have a rap sheet like Atiku

Atiku is corruption personified and unless he has undergone some major transformation since 2007, i really do not see the value, he adds.

Buhari's major flaw was poor economic decisions. Too many poor monetary policy decisions that hurt businesses and individuals. The economy is improving but a lot of damage has been done.

what are Oby's policies like?

Oby is on Twitter. We sabi her very well there. Do you know what Oby does when someone disagrees with her opinion and calls her out on it? She BLOCKS them. Some months back, there was a guy who challenged her on economic policies, she ribbished the guy, essentially called him ignorant and stupid. The funny thing was, the guy was right and she was wrong. Oby is prideful and doesn't know how to engage people, those are two characteristics that should never be in a leader. When she declared for President, she unblocked most of the people she had blocked earlier and they mocked her.

Moghalu that entered PACT and dissociated himself from the same PACT when he lost to Durotoye? Moghalu that was fronting as one of those who aided the release of the Owerri women, and he was busted by those who actually put in work.

See ehn, some of these people wey una dey see so, Na shine shine dem get. They are not the kind of leaders you think they are. Deep down, they are not better than Buhari and Atiku
