Yeah,quite laudable.

Fastidious *squinting* I'd simply say stingy. The record is,as rightly stated: Laudable.

Not most but all. Bribe givers and bribe takers, big thieves, small thieves. If you don't give, you take- all are part of the system. Let one Nigerian who has been confronted with the Nigerian system in business, sports, education, government, police etc tell me he's not been tainted one way or the other.

How will people not be corrupt? When we live in a society that makes survival almost impossible. Corruption is the only way to breathe in a corrupt society like Nigeria. Buhari is the living embodiment of corruption, the repository of all that is sick and twisted in this nation.

Take away paper from him and he folds up mumbling like a toothless hag. No spark, no intelligence. I watched the president of Ghana talking formally to the president of France extempore for close to 30 minutes, see brilliance. Same Ghana president came to Abuja and wowed lawyers at the last Nigerian Bar Association conference just this August. I watched Paul kagame of Rwanda, omo see intelligence, see yarns. Trump at the last United Nations General Assembly stood and for more than 30 minutes e just dey yarn like maestro. Buhari must debate this time ooo, e must.

How do I atone for the error I made in 2015. I feel dirty all over for giving my vote to Buhari.

Don't tell me you fell under the Mr Integrity's spell in '15.

Too bad.

I was a critic of Jona, but watching Bubu's campaign video of all the 'how can yous' in the world, seeing him evade the presidential debate in favor of a town hall meeting in the UK did enough to tell me that man senility is of top grade.

we are not looking for a saviour, we are looking for a chabge

If Atiku turns out to be as useless as Buhari, we will kick him out in four years. There is no reason why we should reward gross incompetence with a second term

Before Buhari came to power, he was Head of State and Nigerians were not doing well, even at that time. His antecedents and his anti-democratic nature were swept under the carpet and he was voted in. He has proven that the Buhari of yesterday is the same today and forever

Whatever Atiku did, he was not the President, he was the Vice President. He has reinvested in Nigeria, all his businesses are here, all his running mate's businesses are also here. Buhari has not one business home or abroad to speak of.

We don't need a saviour, we need someone to put the right policies in place to help small and medium sized businesses grow and an Atiku/Obi ticket is one that promises a good economic blueprint at least. These are two proven, astute businessmen, with Obi being a renowned prude, I can bet you, we will at least see positive changes in our economy.

Let us give Atiku a try, corruption or not. There is no politician in this country that is not corrupt, so let us see what new faces can do. If they misbehave, we kick them out. Do not allow the fear of failure stop you from taking risks, because you may eventually miss your success.

There is not a single good thing about Trump. He is a tax evader and a morally corrupt person, but he is a businessman and because of him today, the amount of unemployed people in the US have dropped admirably. You don't have to like a man or his politics, you only have to focus on what he can bring to the table that is currently not available

It's not because of Trump the unemployment rate dropped, it's the continual effect of Obama's policy that trickled down into his administration now with all this trade wars, a lot of companies are planning to start laying people off especially companies that use steel. Price of goods are about to start rising.

The only thing we have enjoyed so far from oga Trump is slightly lesser taxation rate but I hope he doesn't destroy the economy the Obama administration struggled so hard to fix when they came in.

Nothing infuriates me more than the stupid, ignorant blubbering of those who tout Buhari's lifeless integrity as his trump card and denigrate Atiku as corrupt. They have no idea what corruption is. I laugh and also lose my patience with the fools who say Buhari is fighting corruption. Lawd have mercy! For the information of all such bubbleheads: nepotism is the father of corruption and Buhari is one hell of an unbending tribalist and nepotistic tyrant.

It's not corruption that galls my soul. It is our stinking self righteousness, our noisy hypocrisy. A society of thieves and knaves purports to discredit people with the tar of corruption. I am a man of unclean lips AND I LIVE AMONG A PEOPLE OF UNCLEAN LIPS- so acknowledged prophet Isaiah in Isaiah chapter 6 when his rottenness was exposed by the holiness of God. But in Nigeria APC is the party of Saints, PDP is the den of thieves. I don't do APC or PDP. They are all thieves and they know it. It is the regular Nigerian who gets sucked into the vortex of this devilish propaganda that irks me. How can you be so stupidly daft? Note it today: Any thief punished in Nigeria is just a victim, nothing more. We have created a system that works by thieving, by fraud, by deceit and lies, a system that embraces each and every one of us, yet we have the godless and shameless temerity to pick on individuals and label them thieves. God punish una.

Just above a year in Abuja, I have seen things, not so much but at least I know anti corruption is the biggest hoax in recent times. Political MMM at its finest. Right inside Aso Rock, under the eyes of Mr lifeless, corruption feeds fat and grows fresh and sturdy.

Here's Buhari's anti corruption: Buhari chases everybody out of the front door of the house brandishing the cudgel of anti corruption. Afterwards he opens the back door and lets in Maina, Babachir, and a vile throng of unnameable persons who swarm in like locust and rip off this nation. Meanwhile those run out through the front door go yapping on the streets, bleating like mindless sheep that Buhari is fighting corruption. Once you tap them they start singing like Benjamin the donkey in Animal farm: APC good, PDP bad, Buhari Saint, Atiku thief. Abba Kyari (Buhari's Chief of staff) go just dey laugh the doofus.

Whosoever supports Buhari should support him but if you do so because you think he's fighting corruption you are an epic incurable idiot. No apologies.

I greet you all. Make una dey enjoy una football. So long brothers. Cheers.

hahahahah..

Corruption is now a norm in Nigeria and 88% of Nigerians including me has aligned, developed a thick skin and also geled into the system in such a way that its no more a rocket science to me.. In fact I have no other option to like it like that..
And if u don't partake in bribery, fraud and corruption in Nigeria, my brother unless u re already born into establishment, u re gonna be fvcked up for life.

There has never been any non corrupt politician bad there will never be as far as Nigeria is concerned. Even if u claim to be incorruptible.. The corrupt majority will fvck up ur life.

Diavolo:
Funny how people think atiku is any different from buhari. They are both over 70's, both from the same region, both Muslims and fulanis and both herders. Atiku is also tribaliatic just like buhari going by the fact that in 2011 when he ran for pdp presidential candidate against Jonathan, he's slogan was the North should vote for the north. He also has been involved in a number of corruption scandals in which some of his accomplices have been indicted, but it's stupidity to assume buhari isn't corrupt, they are both corrupt just that buhari uses his kinsmen to do the dirty work. Where atiku has the edge is that he's more exposed, and more business savvy as opposed to the buhari who knows nothing about the economy.
So if anyone is thinking atiku is suddenly going to be our messiah , that person will be deceiving himself. Personally even though I don't believe in atiku or think he has anything to offer, I will still vote for him cos we need a change in leadership. Buhari has failed woefully and his performance doesn't make him deserve a second term. So let atiku also try, if he fails, we vote him out.

You have said it all jare. Add to the fact that Atiku is more educated than Buhari..
It's a case of between the devil and the blue sea.. we gotta pick one...
Jonathan.wasn't that bad in 2015 yet Nigerians voted in Buhari who already had a record of bad leadership and corruption as head of state....
Let's try Atiku..If he fails,we vote him out... Shikena!

Our biggest mistake in the WC was leaving Ebuehi on the bench and playing a defensive minded Idowu as LWB.

Iwobi should have paired Musa upfront in our 3-5-2.(the same guy that scored 2 goals against them in a friendly).

Rohr really learnt his lessons seeing as he dropped Idowu for Jamilu collins.

Most of our CBs won't be available for Qatar 22.Apart from Ekoong who by then will be 28 and might not have that much pace by then.Omeruo's lack of pace resulted in Argentina's first goal.

Awaziem is more of a utility player than a CB(though he still has time on his side to master a particular position),the SA and Serbia games comes to mind.

This breaks my heart, what happened to having a good name? we shouldn't tow this path no matter the circumstances involved. My father will always call my name and say don't depend on government for anything, that is why I am saving so I can smile when I retire and my pension isn't paid. That's the same set I have carried and make bold to vow I have never and will never involve my self in corruption.
It's not going to be easy as persecution will definitely come but my brother the future of this nation is in our hands.

Let me add something to this corruption talk.

Nigeria is not irredeemably corrupt. This is inspite of endemic corruption, you see around you.

When i first got to the US. What struck was not a lack of corruption but the systems and controls in place to check it. These systems once established begin to shape behavior with time. I remember telling people that America is potentially as corrupt as Nigeria if you remove the consequences.

We are too focused on catching criminals and less focused on making it incredibly hard to steal in the first place. If you arrest a corrupt person today, another corrupt person will simply replace him if there are no proper systems.

What does this mean? It means government should be focused on proper reforms on how agencies operate. And this is achievable. I have worked in consulting and provided financial control recommendations to major companies.

I remember speaking to Nigerian Senator a few years ago and he bluntly told me that the only hope for Nigeria is the future generation because his generation are so messed up.

We can not go into service with the mentality of stealing.. We need more people willing to serve and do the right thing.
