The trial of the Nigerian pastor and two women accused of sexual assault, rape, human trafficking and racketeering, has continued in South Africa. Pastor Timothy Omotoso (59), Zukiswa Sitho (28) and Lusanda Solani (36), were arraigned at the Port Elizabeth High Court on Monday (yesterday).

22-year-old Cheryl Zondi, the first state witness in the human trafficking trial - was back on the witness stand to testify at the Port Elizabeth High Court. She is one of the girls who have accused the pastor of sexual assault and rape.

She claimed she was sexually assaulted by Omotoso as she told the court she believed God was on her alleged attacker's side. She recounted graphic details of the sexual assault on her, allegedly at the hands of the pastor.

Zondi who is expected to wrap up her testimony on Tuesday (today), said that Omotoso sexually abused her over a period of two-and-a-half years while she was a member of the Jesus Dominion International Church.

She was 14-years-old at the time she claims the incidents started.

sad Even though I'm a born again Christian, incidence like these are inevitable since christianity has been turned to a religion of mockery by the hypocrisy of we Christians who refuse to call a spade, a spade. Pastors have been elevated to Demi-god and their gullible followers believe they can never do wrong. We Christians are quick to defend irresponsible elements parading as pastors and bishops with "Touch not my annointed and do my Prophet no harm" but we hypocritically judge others especially of separate religious beliefs. These pulpits fraudsters we call pastors exploits the gullibility of we Christians by threatening us with Hell fire and instilling fears in their congregation to maximize financial returns. No wonder we have more churches than schools and factories all over the country since selling the name of Jesus is the most profitable lazy way of making money.

Our irresponsible sisters in the lord too can not be left out of these show of immorality prevailing in our churches. They dress like prostitutes to churches wearing mini skirts, tight dresses to seduce pastors and male members of the church. Our Muslim counterparts are always fighting for decent dressings to the extent that they insist that school girls are well covered in Hijab so they can grow up to become responsible women. Yet we Christians will wage condemnations on their demands while we swim in immorality. When organizations like Muric lambasts us for our hypocrisy, we turn around to demonize Islam. I don't support rapist but we Christians need to do more in the fight against immorality so we can stop loosing people who are ashamed to be Christians to Islam. sad

This man go hear am. I watched a documentary about South Africans prison and it's scary. And then the xenophobia outside is little compare with in the prison as authorities meant to protect you will leave you open to attack.

Some men need their head examined. With all his wealth and the volumes of women running after him, he has to abuse a woman and a 14 year old for that.

Your comments among others draw my attention as I was browsing through so many comments.

You pointed out some wrong-doing among so-called Christain brethren and pastor.
I'm happy that you are also a Christian, but for the fact that we have some bad eggs in christaindom that mean we don't have those people who are reference point.

Guy, what are you saying? Even with the hijab that Muslims are wearing at young ages, we still have numerous cases of muslim clerics raping them...will you attribute that to how indecent the young girls were dressed Get you facts straight ogbeni
