This is actually the true situation of things in the North. Many northerners prefer Atiku as a person to Buhari. The 2019 election is about individuals, not parties. The choice of Atiku by the pdp is a deal breaker!

It can't be in this north wey we full ground. Buhari is just too much a force to reckon with here, meanwhile Atiku is despised as the candidate of the Biafrans. Atiku made the biggest mistake by choosing an ibo man as running mate and the north can never forget the support given to Kanu and his shenanigans last year by his kinsmen. Some minority tribes do support him though.

The truth is Atiku has made a lot of inroads into the North. But it is customary for those who don't live here to come online and spew what they know nothing about. Before his emergence, it wasn't so dicey the way it is now. The 'Mai Gaskiya' song is not being sang the way it used to be sung in 2014. There exist a large percentage of Northerners who are not happy with the way things have turned out.

But do I think Atiku will defeat Buhari in the core North? No, it will not happen. But one thing is certain, Buhari will not win the North Central again.

This election will be a close call for whoever wins.

But whatever the case is, my vote will be for the Wazirin Adamawa.

If 800 people come out to vote in Atiku's polling unit, Atiku would secure about 415 votes while Buhari would have 385 votes but that can't be said of the votes that would come from Buhari's polling unit! As usual, it's gonna be 800 - 0 or 799 votes against one voided vote.
