Hi to everyone with good news and those still on it, it will surely happen for you IJN. Just keep at it.

I have a quick question:

I am currently filling the PR application online (got ITA!, we thank God), under the educational history do I need to include my undergraduate degree details since I only claimed points (with ECA) for my masters degree ?

Yes you should.
By the way, you need an undergraduate degree to qualify for Master's in the first instance.

PPR has landed. Yipee Yippee Yippee!!!

IELTS- June 3 2017. Required score.
WES - stories for another day.Over six months. Unilad try frustrate, I also believe things would by naturally and I waited and sitting for transcript to be sent. Not until I went to beg, cry and fight. A month after, it was sent. Later discovered, error on dob, process had to be initiated again. In between, made friend with different UNILAG officers, NASU strike. Last last I got it over and dusted. Most frustrating so far.

ITA - May 23
AOR - July 17
MEP/IP1 - August 23 or so.
Got ADR for spouse medical reports.
BG in progress noticed Oct 15.
PPR - Oct 17(Dated 16th)

Family of four.
VO unknown, no LoE.

A few errors here and there. Noticed my current job offer letter has a name mix match after submission. This is a letter that have been with me for 2+years never noticed.

Used spouse fund as POF no letter no gift deed.
Claim sibblings point no birth certificate used. Just marriage cert of both showing same father.

I was just thinking of GCMS note. And then God showed up mightily.

Thanks to all the wealth of resources here. Been so helpful.

Best of Luck to everyone.

Hope I try Sha.

Good morning team, please those in NOUN is it compulsory I present my degree certificate at the point of registration cos I only have statement of result with me?

If your statement of result is more than 3 years old you need your certificate. If your certificate is not ready then you get a letter of "to who it may concern, so so person is a graduate of this svhool" from your school.
Re: Canadian Express Entry/Federal Skilled Workers Program- Connect Here Part 5 by raphrulz: 8:23pm On Oct 17, 2018
Its definitely a system glitch or error. Please, call CIC to rectify it.

This should only happen if you had provided your biometrics in an earlier visa application, if that’s not the case, Call IRCC or raise a CSE

I did ielts last month and my CRS is 438 at the moment, 2 points below the current 440. If I wait till July/Aug next year my CRS will be 473 courtesy of masters and age.
My initial plan was to wait till next year before entering pool, but my friends have been putting pressure on me to use my Nigerian BSc and apply instead, citing unfounded fears that things can change really fast by next year (EE could stop, the process and required documents can become more difficult, etc.).

The problems I have with using my naija BSc is the unnecessary stress and cost of verifying transcripts. Having to put enormous pressure on people and bribe them to do their jobs that they're paid to do is sickening to me. With European degrees, it's about one click away at almost no cost. So I'll be happy to avoid all the naija wahala especially with WES now demanding WAEC for Nigerian degrees.

Any chance the cut off will drop below 440? What's the pattern like for cut offs...does it increase or decrease at the beginning or end of the year?
Any advice if you were in my shoes?

You better evaluate your naija BSc using ICES and enter the pool because one of the draws to be held in Dec., CRS score cut-off will be 422.

PS she’s in UK with her mother , and would I have to reapply? Or just email them and update.

Please help.....

Shoot! Medical is a key component in this journey so there is no way you are fighting this off.

Well, its OK. Time to refire. Hopefully your CRS score is still very tight. Reapply ASAP! And take your time to tender a water tight application

I guess you had done your biometrics in 2014 maybe for a previous visa application......But your profile still says you need to do biometrics. Not clear if you would be required to carry out another biometric process again. Maybe the gurus in the house would throw more light on this...

Hello pls I am interested, how do I PM you
JobsInIT:
I am still in the market for a slot for medicals. Please, help out if you can.

I might as well post my temp timeline

Desire to migrate: 2012, on my first and only trip to Canada.
Decision to migrate negotiated and reached with spouse during the Eid holiday in August. This is by far the longest step. I was on this stage for over a year, if not two. cheesy
Wes request for online MSc with Uk university initiated first week of sept. The online MSc was the best advantage I have had in this process. No waec wahala, no university transcript wahala . Ordered transcript for less than 7 pounds online and the school posted it for me at no added cost.
Registered for ielts for spouse and I same week. Exam date was 29th Sept.
Wes report ready Oct 11/12. MSc equivalent.
Ielts result Oct 12. Spouse LRSW= 9,9,8.5,7.5. Mine= 9,9,8.5,7
Entered pool on Oct 13. Woke up at 5 am to start work on my profile before the children start distracting me.
ITA : Oct 15, around 9 pm.

Now the hustle for medical date begins.

My Ielts writing was not the best but I am still willing to help read and give feedback to 1-3 people interested. Pls PM me if interested.

Pls help with medical date if you can

Thanks

Hi guys, an innocent by-stander here! Thanks for all the good work.

For those waiting for WAEC to send confirmation of result to WES, I think the wait is over. I checked my spouse’s profile on WES today and it’s been updated as received.

Cheers and good luck!

Did you receive the payments directly into bank account during that period? The earliest statement i could generate for clients payment was dated 2015 and business was registered in 2013. I was licensed in 2008 and I'm claimed work experience from 2010 but explained that business didn't get registered till 2013

Brother it's for claiming points o. Do you have any suggestion(s) as to any I can do as I work excluding NOUN post graduate? I will go confirm the cost of their PGD at their Mccarthy study centre tomorrow.

U can also try NACETEM, they offer PGD in Management Technology affiliated to OAU, the study centre is at VI. They will start a new session by November. U can use google to get the Lagos centre co-ordinators number and speak to him

Good Evening all.Currently filling the EE form and i have a question to ask.I am a medical doctor who finished NYSC in 2014 after which I started work immediately.I intend to claim points from 2014 November when I started Working till date.I was told to add my house job Work history as well as NYSC.i have also heard that whatever you add in EE as work history you will provide reference letters.getting reference letters from NYSC is quite tedious and house job is more or less apprenticeship for doctors. Please do I go ahead and just fill up my work experience after service? waiting for your reply so I can enter the pool. Thanks

VO and timelines analysis of Nigerian EE PR applications based on idle time spent ghosting CIC websites and several online forums.

1. Based on policy and technology, IRCC has worked out a system for meeting the EE service standard of treating 80% of applications within 6 months and still maintaining program integrity. It involves maximizing the capacity of the flagship office (CPC-Ottawa) for simple applications and utilizing local VOs that are familiar with foreign nationals culture for complex applications.

2. During R10 completeness check at CIO Sydney, applications are assessed using an "application triage criteria" into low risk, simple applications and high risk, complex applications. Details of this criteria are not available in the public domain but it seems to involve algorithms in the EE electronic system and manual evaluations by officers.

3. Simple Nigerian applications are sent to CPC-Ottawa for routine processing. This involves use of internal vetting procedures and takes 1-6 months based on the number of internal reviews needed and how fast it takes sister organisations (CBSA, CSIS and RCMP) to do their admissibility screenings. If during processing, it was discovered that the application was too complex to be handled by CPC-Ottawa, it is sent back to CIO or to local VOs for processing.

4. Complex Nigerian applications are technically supposed to be sent to Accra VO for processing as the office is more conversant with Nigerian cultural peculiarities. However, due to the high number of Nigerians applying for EE PR, Accra VO's capacity is inadequate and so "workload distribution" is applied and Nigerian applications are also sent to London VO and more recently Kiev VO. Some Nigerians in other online forums have reported their applications being treated at Pretoria and Nairobi VOs.

5. At the VOs, CIO Sydney's low risk /high risk assessments are reviewed. If the case officer disagrees with the high risk assessment, the application is treated using local routine procedures. The processing timeline for this type of application is generally 3-7 months. The local routine procedures of the London VO is generally known to be the most thorough.

6. If the case officer agrees with CIO's assessments, program integrity measures are applied and the application is not treated within the 6 months service standard. Because of capacity constraints and high degree of thorough vetting required, an application can stay long in the processing queue and it can take months before it is attended to. Processing timelines is between 7-24 months.

7. It is worth noting that delay in processing is not only from IRCC. CBSA, CSIS and RCMP can apply deep security screening based on their own operating procedures. Until the sister bodies finish their checks, final admissibility decisions cannot be taken.

NB: These are my personal opinions and can only be verified by IRCC.
