You can check out the recent most sought out institution in Nigeria, its UNILORIN. That also indicates that the institution is better by far. Na them dey rush o... We still maintain our standard.

for someone to choose Lautech in the first place is that person not dumb.. many of them will graduate from one vocational training or the other before they even get to their penultimate year because a session in lautech is 2 standard years. what fact do you now need that such school can only produce yahoo boys and ashawo babes? Lautech is a school you will go and still be seeking admission in other schools, if not you are on your own! That doesn't make Unilorin anyway better though, cos there is no different between that school and a boarding school. I served with one of their graduates and its a pity you will always have to borrow him words to complete a simple sentence. The guy is brilliant but to articulate his points is always a problem to him. The thing is, Lautech kills career while Unilorin kills self esteem.
That is why I love Unilag; even a drop out will easily make ends meet cos you will surely be smart in everything you do. From their screening process as an aspirant till you graduate, their examination always test students IQ and not how far you can read(cram). The exposure you get and environmental influence in Unilag will always make you dream bigger everyday. If you want to be a professor or you love to read a lot, then you can go to UI or OAU... Lautech and/or Unilorin... no be me and you...

But seriously, Academically LAUTECH students are so dump. And to make things worst the school is always on strike which makes the student brain dead. As I type now the school is closed down and in serious crisis. About majority of the girls been used for rituals, visit the school and see number of lexus, Toyota and Benz cars then you will know it's true. My problem with the school is they groom more yahoo boys and prostitute better than academic performance. How did I know ?
Boys hussle on net, get money to pay there way out while girls run the town with their purri to get money and most even offer lecturers purri to pass courses.

Am Not taking side, but I got lautech admission in 2009, my parents advised me to forsake it and take a federal monotechnic admission after which I gain admission to OAU through de, that's one of the greatest decisions of my life and I still enjoy it till today

See, you're a kid. I'm 100% certain that your admission was worked for by somebody or you got in on indegene slot...that explains why you don't know basic things about these institutions including yours.

First, you said UNIBEN isn't among top 10 whereas it was formally among top 5 before finally resting within top 10 presently.

Secondly, you just said "They are always on the list but they are no where to be found" where then did they go to? It won't kill if you google, you know? And with this your English, like I asked before, is it Yoruba you're taught in?

Dump? brain dead? Lautech is one of the best state universities we have in Nigeria even with the incessant strike currently plaguing the school. Before the strike the school was once one of the best 10 universities and the best state Uni back to back. The school had best URP dept and CSE dept back when I was in school and I graduated in 2012 with a 2.1. I went to Oau for my masters, I defended my result there and still got federal government scholarship while I was on my Msc without help from anybody. You see most of Lautech students pursuing their postgraduate studies are doing well in all of their fields and schools like OAU retained some as lecturers. Some of my Lecturers here in OAU always joke that "Lautech is an extension of OAU" ......meaning Lautech has good students cos most Lautech's lecturers schooled in OAU.
Please next time don't make a statement that you can't support with statistics.
Ps, I know the Schl has its flaws just like any schl but breeding brain deads/ wastes isn't her forte!
