Really bro.. Abeg have you make enquiry about their admission processing and also if they accept letter of english proficiency from our local school?

According to their application requirements language of proficiency from your school is accepted that was even the main reason I considered them.

Howdy NL fam’ I’ve been religiously trying to read this thread from page one to get all the necessary details before applying to schools, but honestly my people e no easy. Biko pardon my laziness. Cos the more I read, the more time dey go and more comments keep piling ahead and I keep getting confused. So I have decided to ask very pointed questions here and I’ll really appreciate your very candid answers. And pls forgive my clumsiness too.

So I’m looking to apply to Technische Universität Ilmenau (TU Ilmenau) with MA Media and Communication Science as my course of interest. Please I need people who have had first hand first hand experience applying to this school/course or current students there. I need proper guidance on how to go about my application.

Please help a JJC o.

Did you eventually fund your BA before or after entering Germany? If yes, why did you have to considering that you already got your AM? If no, were they no obstacles you faced when you got to Germany?
anyways I got the AM with a condition of providing either BA/SL, which I have fulfilled.

Good Morning
I gained admission late june
German Embassy at Lagos gave me late appointment date 11th of october
my school deadline was 18th of october but i was given enrollment extension till November 12th
i have done my interview
I am currently waiting for the guy for SL to get and send it to me
I am currently worried looking at the shortest remaining time to my extension deadline.
please experienced senior German Nairalanders, in your opinion is it possible to still meet up with the deadline of November 12
Note:- I am yet to receive AM from the embassy

For the newbies here, you guys really have a lot to do.
Our seniors here respond to our messages based on what they have read and the experiences they have had. But at least, we still have little, if not more to do. If you are about putting in for a course, the first thing is to set aside at least 2 or 3 days minimum to get adequate information you need for your application, and you can't get all that here.

Go to www.daad.de on how to search for your preferred course of interest, you can as well search for schools by their federal state- it's all there.
Ransack the school(s) website for your preferred course, check for their application procedures, deadlines, etc. Know if the school application is being carried out by the school or via uni assist, and if uni assist is the the platform for the school's application, read on how to go about the process there.

Send messages to the school if there are things that are not well cleared to you, I am 100% sure and certain that they will respond to your mail.

Everything is written there and its straightforward. You guys don't have to keep asking the same question over and over here. We can't achieve more if we are being lazy, and this is not an exemption, trust me. This journey needs adequate timing, speed and more knowledge at the same time.

For those that their admission are intact already, go to the embassy website and know the procedures for visa application. And if there are questions to ask, you can ask that here which would have convinced our elders here that you have done your assignement quite well.

Wish you guys the best..

Happy sunday Sirs/Mas

Is like u re going to Bayreuth university, if so ask for more extension when the enrollment deadline is getting closer,i believe they can still extend more.

@ajeleseujn, many thanks for your assistance here, the gospel truth remains that all this your Sunday sermon are actually falling on very big deaf ears.

Just wait and see in no distance time, annoying questions will start popping in. It's pathetic though, but our people has refused to do the needful.

Even after sending someone a link that addresses a problem, the person go dey ask you to open the link for am, read and explain what is written there. some will ask a question that was currently addressed few seconds ago, and you keep imagining the type of persons we have here.

Some go tell you say them don read, but when they throw their questions here, na there you go know say devil dey learn work when it comes to lieing. some say dem don tire to read when it's obvious they are yet to start the journey. una sure say na school una want go. soonest embassy will start questioning every motives even the least mundane ones. it's well. May God help us

none of the school is free anyway that's why i say start early so u can use NIPOST for your application also I was able to.meet guys here that helped me submit application to some schools in Germany that only require you to send the forms filled only alone without sensing certified copy.

Let's get this all schools in Germany are not same out of all the schools I applied to like 9 I only send hard copy application to one and uniassit which I didn't finally pay for cos I got admission.

So for me I will advise search for more schools that have online application and those you don't need to send certified documents to so u can easily send the online Dilled form to a friend to print and submit for you.
In all you do try to reduce cost but you must incurs cost but reduce it to the barest minimal that's all

Hope this help
Boss please can you list the schools you applied to that needed only online application?

what if the school don't have your desired course or something related. Have you thought about that. The way you are going it's not the proper way. you seem to be putting the cart before the horse.

Guess you should know, unless you haven't read through, you have been told countless number of times, take your time search for schools offering your desired choice of study or probably something related. it's not a quick fix stuff. you need to spend time to research the curriculum and content of the program. You should know what they are offering you and what you stand to get.

Don't tell me you are part of the No future ambition (NFA) category of students. Embassy go ask you to give them cogent reasons why you are opting for this course and how you intend to utilize the knowledge. Then you go say na dailydolar say them dey do online application.

Abeg spend ample time to prepare. All this annoying questions shows you are actually not ready for studies honestly.

All the very best.

Yes but at times it depends on course too. I see some courses on edx.org if taken can exempt you from even Gre/GMAT tests for some top schools like Georgia tech, Harvard or MIT.
