Hi Admin,

I need advice for my elder sister that is married for almost four years now. She feels like she has made a mistake and she is thinking of leaving. My family is torn on her decision. My father and my siblings are supporting her. Me and my mother think she should not leave.

What is the issue? The man she married has serious inferiority complex and trust issues. When they were dating,she thought the fact that he was always jealous and over protective was cute but now it has become a night mare for her. They were introduced by an uncle. This man is not that educated but he has made some money for himself.

Now,my sister’s husband does not want her to work even though she is graduate and also a master degree holder. He said he does not believe a woman should work because she will be exposed to other men. This was an issue until my parents intervened and he agreed that she can work.

My sister got a job in a real estate company and because she is very good,she brought in some deals and made some huge commission, but she had to.....see more

There is what is called compatibility in relationship, class is a part of it. Whatever defines that class: social status, money, education, belief, tribe... should not be ignored. If she stays well, she has to bury any ambition, her price for marriage. If she leaves better, opportunity to express herself. The marriage is already built on faulty foundation.
