Let me tell you guys how I became rich

First, I bought one watch for a thousand nairawith my savings.
Then I went out on the street and sold it there for 2000 naira.
With the 2000 naira I bought two watches for 2k each and again sold them for 2000 each.
Now I had 4000 naira and was able to buy 4 watches , which, you may have guessed, I sold for 2000 naira each.
Now I had 8000 naira and I bought 8 watches and so on and so on...

A few days later my aunt died and I inherited her assets.
Very dry

That's what lawyers are paid for. Don't blame them. Blame the system instead.

Evans might be a criminal but he gave locations and details where the extra judicial killings and torture took place.

From this reply given by Abba Kyari, it's obvious he never did due diligence in reading the report and thus, he also might be lying.

The police is well known for such extra judicial killings and torture, branding innocent people as criminals after killing and intimidating the families of those killed. Besides most families will not want to associated with such killings as it will further tarnish their family name in the society.

The way this case is going, Evans might go Scott free or with just a very minor jail term. Because the police as with everything with this administration, seem not to be very diligent in prosecuting this case and Evans lawyers seem to be very intelligent.
brother your read my mind. Abba kyari reply to what Evans said do not have any relation. He should have defended the statement delligently than bring in filrty excuses. I can sense that Evans spoke the truth but Abba kyari just wanted to clean the mess

Do not waste your vote. There are only two contenders in this election. Use your vote to remove or install who you favor. Casting a vote for fela will only be of advantage to one of the two majors.

What a country! A trained police officer interfering with a matter already in court.

Abba Kyri, if you led the investigation that captured Evans, you will definitely appear as a key witness to testify against all the "rubbish" Evans has said in court.

Why then obstruct and dishonour the court over comments made in a sitting court session. All Nigeria police men and officers need retraining and reorientation.

This country is doomed to destruction with high ranking policemen making emotional and uncontrolled comments over a matter already in court. Chai!!! What a country.

And he even took it to the level by calling Evans a criminal billionaire Kidnapper...even though we know it's the truth...police officers are expected to follow the law to the later.

What a country!

He even stated the number of those executed and also name of the execution style as told to him by those belonging to Abba Kyari's crew.

Abba Kyari's response to this is very lame, I was even expecting the PRO of the Nigerian police to give a response and not him.
All what evens said about torture and killing by the police is true we way know know as e de go .

Where, when and how where those Criminals Evans was talking about were killed? Is it that they don’t have parents or family members to speak out for them?

Didn't Evans give those details?.... an independent investigative team needs to be formed and examine the locations for forensic evidence. And which parent would dare speak out on such Police action?...even Evans didn't until his day in court. Should his lawyer unearth more evidence to support what Evans is saying...(maybe he has but is withholding)...then the case should be dismissed and Evans walks as a free man. It is for the prosecution to prove its case....in court...with evidence. So far....I don't see that happening.

It is only people that have not had or connected with someone that have had something to do with the theft, armed robbery and violent crime section of the the Nigerian police especially SARS that will not believe Evans.

As it concerns Evans he is as guilty as charged, he tortured, tormented and ransomed his victims.

That said, the quantum of extra judicial killings that happens in the police criminal section can only be imagined if juxtaposed with the way they waste innocent people for something as paltry as N100 bribe...we all see police brutality in plain view everyday.

I recall the story an acquaintance told me about his traumatic experience with police CID unit when they arrested him for having a criminal suspect as a tenant, if not that his people were well to do and they were unrelenting in following up his case they would have killed him.

He said they usually come in the night to pick inmates from their cells and shoot them in their shooting range in the back of their cell. According to him he said they complain that the place was getting crowded, once they pick an inmate that person was never seen again.

I guess Saddam Hussein as Evans called it is cost effective way to travel their victims since bullets cost them money. Death by affixation is a terrible way to die it's similar to drowning.

If some Boko Haram members were freed, and recruited back to the military and police force, what makes Evans case different.
