You may be able to change (switch) to a Tier 4 (General) student visa if you’re in the UK under any of the following visas or schemes:

Tier 2 (General)
Tier 2 (Intra-company transfer)
Tier 2 (Minister of religion)
Tier 4 (Child)

I intend to process my Tier 4 dependant visa. My problem is this: My husband said when filling his application he wrote my name attaching his own when officially I've not changed my name to effect this yet. Will this cause a problem? Bearing in mind that I'll be attaching our marriage certificate which shows my maiden name?

2. For a dependant, what's the easiest proof of address to provide for NI number

2. Tuberculosis test result
3. Marriage certificate
4. My 28 days bank statement (I used 2 bank statements)
5. A signed invitation letter from my partner
6. A relationship statement written by my partner
7. My partners student status confirmation
8. A scanned copy of my partners brp (front and back) and entry clearance
9. My partners UK bank statement and phone bills as his proof of address in UK
10. Utility bills in Nigeria showing we lived together prior to his travel to the UK
11. Email logs and WhatsApp chat logs covering about 2 years
13. Travel tickets showing we visited each other while I was studying in UK
14. Dated photos of me, my partner and family before, during and post wedding, printed on A4 paper

They need to include the cost of sponsorship and its duration.
There's a standard format for UK tier 4 sponsorship letters.

1. For me its too brief as against UKVI rules that expect amount of Scholarship to be stated or that they will take care of all bills.
2. Why must I copy this, what if somehow the ECO notes the similiraty? Or are we not submitting Sponsorship letter with Application?

Pls use this format because in the UKVI guidance, they need to know for what period the scholarship/sponsorship is for. If it's not there, your application will most likely be refused.

Did she just conveniently become your guardian weeks or months to your application when you've obviously gone over the age limit required for guardianship or adoption? Or was this document obtained while you were within the age limit required?
The UKVI can spot a document that was generated for the sole purpose of bypassing the rules and it wouldn't be nice to get a refusal and a ban due to misrepresentation.

Yes, The legal guardian means an original court document with notary public and contact details of the notary public, it is not just an affidavit o. My school requested for the legal document and I have sent to them. Other details required from the legal guardians are on page 72 of 109 UKVI, subsection 293 and 294.

Also my legal guardian is currently on vacation inNigeria because of the UKVI required documents. Although it is a long and tedious process

That is not possible. The school can not reduce the amount for you because it got nothing to do with them.

I will be shocked if you are given a visa with a sponsorship letter from local govt.

Is it Secondary? College, First Degree or a Masters degree?

Are you intending to fake it? Or your LGA is ACTUALLY sponsoring you?

If your LGA is ACTUALLY sponsoring you, they would do well to simply issue you a scholarship letter, transfer all the money to your personal account that’s all.
But if you intend to use a fake letter head and impersonate an LGA, the ECO would see through your lies and your visa would be denied.
