i dont agree with you on this, i am currently employed in one of the top 5 multinational telecoms coys and this has not made me change my mind about serving my country as this is where my passion lies. infact i cant even tell anyone around i registered to enlist because it sounds so abnormal to them.
There are flaws in every system but but not everyone is desperate for the job due to lack of employment.

Abeg help me ask if them fit employ me as a Doctor in your coy bro.

. Benjamin Lewis Salomon: Benjamin was a US Army dentist during World War II, assigned as a front-line surgeon. During the battle of Saipan, his aid station was overrun by a Japanese assault.

When the Japanese started overrunning his hospital, rather than flee and leave the wounded, he grabbed an M1 rifle and evacuated the wounded while he covered their retreat. He ensured the safe evacuation of the wounded, killing at least 98 enemy troops before being killed

The current instructions is what you should follow. I belong to a professional body and as a doctor, we were given some special privileges, so didn't know what made them send others away.

Bros SSC no be for effico oh. Na for real bush jungle army man!, that's why women were advised to apply for DSSC.

Someone said you'll be advised to goan burn your certificate once u enter SSC training cos it's useless, na d cerrificate wey army go give you by nacking u PIP be d koko. And you can't compare someone with 5years experience with your 9months, you're in their terrain, so give them their respeck cos dy paid their dues & dy paid in full meen. If them also come your academic terrain, you fit use dem buga, but na you come meet them, no be vice versa, so DOWN!!!

On this one I disagree if they know they should just make it Nda alone the moment they introduce SSC equality suppose to be met. They spent 5years so we no go play for Uni too and again they will be commissioned straight a graduate will wait, apply, bla bla bla and bla b4 9month training if we are to Yan the truth it suppose be the same rule. They set the rule and we know it forging ahead to apply is our choice and we love it and care less about the disparities.

Lacasete or lebete my guy seriously u are right about issue of unemployment making ppl rush army but mind u is not the same for all. Some its because of the uniforms and yet not the same for all. Some it's the command and respect and yet not the same for all. Army training to many ppl might be difficult but to me is just like paying Messi or Ronaldo to play football. Since 2016 have been having sleepless dayz about the next recruitment and thank God it's here. For some of us army is a place to be happy, serve and protect cos if we don't who will.

cool
from the little I know, DSSC are also deployed in warfronts especially those of us going for the Engineers Corps, there are field engineers and also infantry support engineers, even those in Intelligence, EME,Signals corps, they are also deployed there. whatever the case maybe everyone is FIRST trained as a SOLDIER, and the fact that you're are DSSC doesn't stop you from going for Infantry courses lol and be well groomed about core battle strategies

I'm I the only Ordnance officer here? Ordnance is the next best thing after SSC, anyhow anyhow we must taste action pending when we convert to Direct regular grin. Course was listed in 4 different Corps but as a rugged guy, I gast respect myself choose the nearest Corp to combat, I can't imagine myself being condemned to an office setting. Before frustration go make person forget bullet for GOC head grin..
