Hello people, gurus in the house, please I have a question. My husband (that feels good) plans to get us a place (1 bedroom flat or studio flat) for our accommodation when I join him.

Hubby's present tenancy is due in December, so the plan is to get a place (1 bed or studio) before I apply and pay for it (rent and tenancy will start in January).

My question is
1. Will home office have any issue with a studio flat?

2. Considering the tenancy and first rent starts in January after my application, will that be an issue?

*we plan to submit tenancy agreement, letter from landlord and rent receipt...

Thanks

Have you paid for it ?
You only pay when you get a date. I have not been able to get a date.

Just buy Virgin or BA and checkout ..... You do not need TB injection, all your documents would be in front of the border official, the moment your passport is scanned ....

Any questions they ask you, is just for light conversation....

KLM or Lufthansa too are not bad. If you reside around East London or Kent axis, route your flight through city airport....

Love nest contract signed in November to commence in January.

Application submitted End of Nov or 1st week Dec (certainly not before signing of love nest contract)

The contract of the love next would state commencement of contract nah .....

You want to submit an application with an address, that your sponsor is not living in ? Am I right or left?

Don't try this at all, at all ....... Why not wait till he moves in ?

What about if the rent agreement falls through and UKBA phones landlord to confirm tenancy?

You submit an application in December, the aspect of satisfying the accommodation prerequisite, is of an accommodation that your sponsor is yet to reside in.......

Your application status must be live and not only on paper.......

So in clear terms, you advice I leave the application till he's moved in to the accommodation in January?

I would even go further and also provide documents with his new address......

It's not how fast, but how well ..... You don't want to rush and receive an outcome you would not like.....

I sabi say ur eyes don dey road, but if your initial application gets rejected...... The heartache + bruising on the bank balance, would take longer to heal .........
