Guys please help me.
I and my crush (though girlfriend to be) have fixed date which is this Saturday, to go for a date. I'm just a newbie into this dating stuff. And I don't know how it's been done!
I've asked few of my friends that are already expertise, but they keep telling me to just conduct myself and be free with her. I still don't understand what they're even saying.....
Now the worst thing is, this is my first time of going for date with a lady.
I am just confused Saturday is already here but still don't know what to do.
I'm planning of taking her to market square (port Harcourt people can relate).
What are we going to do?
What should I buy?
What should be our discussion? As per, we have already got to know everything about ourself.
What should I ask her to not kill the vibes?
Please help me as I find myself in dilemma.

I don't think you need any body to tell you what to do, like ur friends said, b urself, dnt go nd behave like someone dat is acting a script. Just let everything flow.

Hahahahaha!! "The rite of passage", i remember my first date like it was yesterday, i had just started driving so i sneaked out with my mum's peugeot 405 to pick her and that was the biggest mistake ever. The stupid car didn't misbehave until i got to her gate and it started overheating, due to lack of experience i opened the radiator and brown hot water gave my white shirt a new design, i was caught between the devil and the deep blue sea, my options were go to the nearest boutique and get a new shirt(this option wasn't viable because it will drastically reduce my budget for the date) or risk the traffic all the way back home with a semi-healthy car or just show up with my shirt looking like an accident victim. I still don't know how and why i gathered liver to show up with my shirt like that, ironically the date went pretty well and we even made fun of shirt and its new design. Young man let the words of the great Chingus Khan guide you "It is better to be hated for who you are than to be loved for who you are not"...........

Just remember that you are both there by choice.

The other person most likely wouldn't be there if they weren't at least a little curious about you. With that in mind, relax. Be yourself and dress well. For what to buy — you can ask her what she want if that's okay with you.

Just be free, order snacks and soft drinks or ice cream preferably . Be giving her eye contact while talking ,minimize spending to avoid regret later(reject relationship offer) when heart break sets in . No go dey form cold guy ,collect better hug (before and after).
I don't go on a date again, I fu‹k dem real hard. if you know, u know.

And being yourself means talking about the very things that brought you together. She probably feels anxious as well.
What kills the vibes is trying too hard
I am not a fan of buying anything as it could be a slippery slope of expectations. Find a place that’s not too secluded or very busy so as to make conversation difficult. There is something about her that you liked built on that.

Don't be a talkative. Don't be loud.

Let there be some seconds of silence between your discussions so that you can smile and stare into her eyes.

Let her talk about herself more and be a good listener. You can can talk about family, friends, career, education, fashion, music, movies, etc.

Please never discuss politics and religion with her and make sure you mock her with witty response while she talk about herself.

I don't think it's proper to ask a date to be your girlfriend so it won't look like you're trying to bribe her by taking her out and spending on her.

Just take her home straight after the date...

I will suggest if you are both below the age range of 20 just do normal hang out stuff so that she won't be too expectant and you too won't be trying hard to impress her. I will suggest you find a location of a good Cinema and visit place together.
Take a Little stroll and if possible buy her suya (if you can buy her strawberry juice it will make her supper happy ), take time to tell her how much she means to you. It should not cost you upto 5k

Sorry to sound like a sadist but just go with a normal flow and expect a high level of disappointment because let's face it , she will yell that you like her a lot or most times , things like this are on sided. Just be prepared to be disappointed and everything should be fine.
