Thank you for your response. I finally got the EXACT address from my bank and after a few tries, the payment was successful. Also, WES confirmed to have received the payment.

Secondly I did direct entry into university because I have NCE. Am I to evaluate my NCE too?

When UI PG School said they didn't receive both email and standard mail requests for 2 months. I've had to pay 22k+ for courier delivery. It costs more but at leastleast I'll be ablea to track its movement. Looking forward to the completion of the secondary verification process.

Based on this experience, I've got 2 comments:
1. If you're just starting your ECA, don't use WES. Reason being that they do secondary verification and knowing how slow and ineffective our Nigerian Universities are, delay is certain.
2. If you are in with WES already, please pay 285 CAD , instead of 207, for courier services.

I learned the hard way.

Tell their Alma mater to use their official email address or you pay for courier. Standard mail may not work for because of post office workers' strike in Canada.

When I applied ONLINE for my transcript to be sent to Lagos (for another purpose), they promptly sent the soft copy to the address I provided (I was in copy). The mail also read that the hard copy would be sent the same day. It's been a week now, it hasn't been delivered.

So, I believe sending the soft copy is the best they can do. Alas, that's not enough. As a colleague advised me, you may have to do some serious legwork to make it happen. According to him "it was war before they sent it to LAUTECH PG sch". Best of Luck!

I paid 207CAD and still received hard copy though I understand we don’t even need the hard copy...
So even if it takes forever to deliver to you,you can make use of the soft copy, or is this for some other use?

He's trying to advise those that will need hard copy verification package sent to their institution. I did same when RUGIPO couldn't get email verification request from WES.

I don't understand the bold. The courier shipment cost of 85CAD or sth is to send you the ECA report speedily. If u paid extra courier cost of N22K to ship your verification letter to UI, that is some spending. I always say this, unless WES shows you enough love when it comes to your specific credentials, don't use them. Even ICES per document charge of 200CAD shouldn't make you use WES.

The clients I approached asked me to draft the letter then they can sign etc

I'm getting 5 letters and was thinking it would be weird to have them all sound the same.

Is there a particular format I should use?

Use your address (home or office) and include your phone number. Visit the NIPOST office covering your address after two weeks after you have confirmation that its been sent. Takes about two weeks to arrive Lagos Nigeria.
