By all means... evaluate your NCE... as it is highly recognised... living testimony here...


But that your GCE age ish will definitely be an issue... I suggest you correct it here before submitting to WES...

I didn't mean to bold the sentence. Anyway, you maybe right. But that was what I was asked to pay when I asked that the secondary verification request be sent by courier. And you're right, WES should be avoided based on the complications that may arise.

I don't understand the bold. The courier shipment cost of 85CAD or sth is to send you the ECA report speedily. If u paid extra courier cost of N22K to ship your verification letter to UI, that is some spending. I always say this, unless WES shows you enough love when it comes to your specific credentials, don't use them. Even ICES per document charge of 200CAD shouldn't make you use WES.

So I couldn't find a sample reference letter on the thread from a client for self employed candidates.

The clients I approached asked me to draft the letter then they can sign etc

I'm getting 5 letters and was thinking it would be weird to have them all sound the same.

Is there a particular format I should use?

Whatever you do please don't print the letters yourself. Send soft copies to the various clients let them print themselves before signing.

You should try to evaluate both to shoot your crs up. Why not try IQAS (or better still ICES if you can afford the extra 200CAD)? You would not have to send your GCE certificate and also would avoid verification wahala with WES especially since your verification would be from two schools.

Will the remarking affect my new registration? Or does the new registration make me ineligible for remarking?

Yes she can use her one year housemanship. I know of people who used it n got ppr.

The more the better...esp with this unpredictable IELTS people. Pls apply for remarking....as far as you have the 15k. You will be surprised.....all the best.

PS: remarking doesn't affect your new registration.

Remarking only affect the current result u want to remark ie. You cant use the result while you are applying for remarking. So pls apply for remarking and study for the next one. It shall end in praise. Amen

I believe you can use your one year horsemanship experience provided your hospital will give you a reference letter stating that you performed most of the duties of a medical officer I.e general practitioner. Like it has been highlighted here, emphasis is placed on duties performed and not job title. Although I didn't use mine I know of someone that used his.

They are telling me at my former place of work- a teaching hospital-that I need to pay 25k in order to get a letter of reference. I want to faint...

Working Experience: 2011-Date.
Got engaged with my OND and worked all through study wit a Govt Radio station.

Participated in NYSC 2014-2015 and returned back. Got upgraded and still working.

NOC Falls in 5224 Broadcast Engineer B.
Assumed an IELTS score of LSRW-7777 which I hope to work hard and surpass.
Did the trial version of CRS and got 399.

Pls wat are my chances and advice on my 1.work while studying
2. during NYSC outside work
3. returned and working to date
with respect to my proof of work.

There is an option for spouse unaccompanying. Note though the he will still need to do medicals, get a police clearance certificate and you will need to provide settlement funds that will cover him too.

Of course you can, but with 15years experience I doubt if age will be in your favour. Last last you may have to go the PNP route but I will advice you start by calculating you score using the CRS tool which am sure you will find in page one then that will determine your next line of action.

PS- you should use assumed ielts score of 8777 (LRWS) for the calculation

ICES will accept ur notification of result if certificate is not ready.
