According to Oxford Advanced Learner's Dictionary (OALD), one function of such a punctuation is "to draw attention to a word that is unusual for the context, or a word that is being used for a special effect, such as irony."

I am not a supporter of Atiku, but were I in his shoes, I'd be more suspicious of this 'offer.' It would even make me to be more afraid than before.

I just want an honest answer, especially from a the Atiku camp. If you were Atiku, will you take the offer and go for the visa?

Not completely true. A visa still do NOT guarantee you permission to enter. But being a former VP of Nigeria they will rather deny him visa than given him one and then deny him entrance or arresting him at the port. But with the US you never know. Moreso when his indictment come as high as US senate. Remember Panama President?
