Why are some people hurling insults at him? He's not the first player to lose his place/playing time. Best time for him is to go to another club and improve his game
I wish him luck in his next club.

Nigerians... Victor Moses for the past 5 years had been the best player on the super eagles, took all the politics insults and came after the tragedy that happened to him in Jos to still play for us, now hear what idiots on this thread are spewing. Sometimes you wonder is it ever worth it to represent Nigerians? By the way if Moses retires from club football, he is richer than any Nigerian that has the time to spew hate on him.
It is normal for people to praise when you are doing well otherwise they will forget your good deeds and castigate you.
I think Victor Moses would not have quitted the national team because of abuses, he should have learnt from world class player like Messi who was for so many times criticized for not being committed to Argentina like he used to in Barca

You people never deserved him in the first place
A guy chose a country that killed his parents and deprived him of family love over a country that gave him shelter and livelihood
He decided to quit to save his career and you people still have the guts to abuse him

I ask
How many of you can do what he did in the first place?
Rubbish people with useless lives

He should just stay put in Chelsea and keep collecting salary until 2021, then move to China to earn his retirement pay. After all, by 2021 he would be around 30ish at the twilight of his career.

Yes but all Messi had to deal with was the fans, Victor had to deal with disorganization, politics, non payment plus abuse.

Victor moses made a mistake by retiring from the Eagles Squard. I remember about last two seasons when Chelsea won the league he was so pivotal to winning the EPL.

A lot of people are cursing and abusing him but I feel for him. His story is the most touching have ever heard. He came home and met his parents killed by Islamic militants. His uncle took him to UK and he still chose Nigeria ahead of UK even after what they did to him. He retired from the Eagles Squad because he said people were abusing him that he fell a lot in the world Cup. He made a mistake. I hope man United buys him. I wish him great success ahead. Blues for life.

Bro, Moses is a " not too fantastic" player, he couldn't have broken into the English national team so don't make it sound like he did us a favour... most of these players play for naija cos they know they are gonna be taken for granted in the English team, both talent wise and "colour" wise. So they prefer coming to Nigeria where they have an almost guaranteed shirt

What an insult on Moses. Okay coach doesn't know where he can fit in abi?

Okay. Its alright. What of as a ball boy, in the kitchen or as a bench warmer to keep substitutes happy before entering the pitch. Let them not relieve Moses o as Rohr also doesn't have him in plans. I think he has even retired from national duty too.

ehya... it was unwise of him to quit super eagles. Conte used him as a utility player that can fit in anywhere in the team. Sarri wanted perfect player for each position hence the reason he discarded him. anyway, his agent should get to work and secure him a loan deal because there's obviously no team that can pay him over 100k he's currently earning at Chelsea
Which Chelsea is paying him over 100k?

Na for Victor moses body una gods dey get strength. This man lost his parents in this same Nigeria to religious crisis..he still played for Nigeria and helped her win the nations cup and also to qualify for the world cup..hasn't he given enough already for this shambolic country?? Ungrateful peeps!

You talk as if he did Nigerians a favor by playing for us.

The question you should ask yourself is if Moses would have held a shirt in the English team let alone enjoy the attention he was given when he played for us.

I am not taking anything away from Moses. But enough of this misconception that he did us a favor by choosing Nigeria over England. The fact is that he would never have amassed so much caps as an international if he had chosen England. The truth is that it was Nigeria that did him a favor and not the other way round.

He chose Nigeria over England because it was the wise thing to do. You think Moses would have enjoyed so much fuss if he had chosen England?

At least, all thanks to Nigeria, he was able to play in two world cups and even score in a World Cup. All these would never have been possible if he had chosen England.

Look at Troost Ekong, Leon Balogun and Iwobi. They are all grateful and happy to have played at the World Cup. This would never have been possible if Ekong had chosen to play for Holland and Balogun for Germany.

Moses chose Nigeria over England for the reason that a player would choose a club he knows he would enjoy more play time with. It has nothing to do with favors. Moses did us no favors. He did himself the favors by choosing a country where he would enjoy play time.
