kevoh:Bros, the are many smooth roads inside Delta... You don't just know the route. Early last month i was to go Asaba from Abraka... I thought the journey would be uncomfortable because the federal road is bad... Not until we got to Umutu and the driver turned into Umutu town away from the federal road.... From Umutu to Nsukwa is very smooth, no single pothole... From Nsukwa to Igbuzor was fair... Then we faced federal road again. I would rather build a thousand street roads for many Delta communities and streets that don't have tarred road than burn hundred billions doing the federal government job for them. Babatunde Fashola is there... He is collecting money... Let him go and do his job |

Oildichotomy:in my first comment, I said there were many truths in the post. I didn't say everything were truths. In my response to you I admitted he hasn't performed up to expectations but he's done so well. Above average. You said Okowa is a failure. It's ridiculous. Okowa and failure can never be put in the same sentence in any ramifications. Okowa is a genius and you have to admit it. I'm not a fan of Okowa but I respect his greatness and I respect the fact that he's performing. Only prejudice can make someone dispute this. Opinions can not overshadowed facts. |

kevoh:Bros why are you comparing Delta with North nah? Is Delta state terrain the same in North? Do they build roads same way they do in North in Delta State? Sometimes conractor have to haul laterite over 15 kilometers. If you build the kind roads in the North in anywhere in Delta State, the road will not last 6 months |

kevoh:Guy you're not being reasonable. This is the problem I have with Urhobo people. They lack points to criticize with and start whatever. How can you condemn a state government for not carrying out a federal government project? This is very low one from you |

oweniwe:Lol..I'm not even from Delta State I'm your neighbour though! I agree state roads are smooth, actually discovered the road to my in-laws have been recently tarred too. |

if okowa deserve second term then buhari deserve more than second term. both are looters and thieves. |

senatordave1:What makes you think Ogboru is a saint? Ogboru is owing many people o. If he smell Delta coffers, he will pay his debts first Ogboru is very stupid. He simply join PDP, go to senate and when Okowa is done, Ogboru will have the governor ticket on a platter. Ogboru can easily win Senate in his area... Okowa went to Senate too. |

nineone:I'm not from Delta state. So an outsider can not criticise without you people playing the tribal card. The roads in my state are terrible too and I criticise Oshiomole and now Obaseki, not where they are from. All my trips to Delta State have been through this road unfortunately And I choose/chose to hold the governor responsible not his tribe. You do your part as someone from Delta by making me see otherwise logically not playing the tribal card. |

oweniwe:If you ever mention Urhobo here again en, na Kala I go take burst that your phone when you take they yarn opata, Weti concern Agbero with overload, you better face front and watch and see how next year election will look like, e go clear for your eye like DVD. Uduaghan performed better, during his tenure we had free medical care, He renovated almost all public schools in the state, transportation sector improved, so tell me what has your so called lord and Savior done in the state?, mention any. E go clear for your eye. |
| Re: Okowa’s Second Term Bid, Done Deal — Uduaghan by Mutemenot(m): 7:46am On Nov 03, 2018 |
I give it to Okowa. My only problem is the low job his contractors are doing within the roads in asaba. I want to give instances; the newly constructed road behind Sam Obi' house off high court rd, asaba, the ibusa road (inside town) just noticed new cracks, Governors street, west end etc . And the rate at which they narrow our streets road, instead of constructing the street road to be wide as mapped out they limit it to a smaller size making it uncomfortable for the road users . My kudos to him for the well planned and solid drainage work going on in the state capital. The drainage alone has won the heart of those living within asaba and it's environs. Pls let us vote him to get the drainage work completed... Those complaining bitterly should ask Uduagha to show us his 8 years achievement in the state.. |

nineone:". ....They lack points to criticize with..." you are lacking in sound logic!!!. I am an Urhobo who supports Okowa if not for anything but for equity and fair play. I know thousands and yes I mean thousands of Urhobos, Okpes, etc that supports Okowa's re election bid. Do not come here and throw a senseless blanket on people or events that you understand little or nothing about. |

nineone:Mhen! You shock me o. You said "any truthful Deltan can attest to Okowa's work" Mhen I fear fear. I carry yansh for una. Just imagine the Agbor - Urhonigbe road, Obiaruku to Èku and Eku to Amukpe direct HELL on earth. Eku to Amukpe has been abandoned so it is impassable, if you dare it, robbers will rob you of your belongings to the level of your boxers. So if you going to Sapele you will first drive through Warri before heading to Sapele. Just imagine the pain. Politics rubbish. Meanwhile his village is off that Agbor - Urhonigbe road. God forbid. |

Which Okowa deserve second tenure?,the one that goes about commissioning private filling station and holds it as an achievement ,Okowa that can not boast of any place he had touched in Delta above average apart from Agbor... My dear i am anioma and i can tell you that Okowa fall hand wel wel!!..Okowa is simply overhyped and only enemies of state will not see that;the one only Governor that has existed in Delta is Onanefe Ibori ,Argue with your ancestor.. |

fiercehillz:So much more than expected! Your hate, misinformed and ignoramus attitude will have no effects in 2019 election. He will relinquish power in 2023 after making Dalta an enviable State in the nation. |

CHRISDMANAGER:Even if you are in exile, you can still get facts from those who have them, rather than ridiculing yourself in a public domain. Today, Okowa is regarded as road master in Nigeria. 2019, he is already returned! |

I am from Delta State Okowa is not performing up to my expectations. Even the road that lead to deputy governor office, is bad as of December last year. Most street at Agbor (Azu Owa) is very bad. But the devil we know is better than the APC Angele we don't know. |

kevoh:I'm no supporter of any Nigerian politician though, but I bet you haven't been to Agbor since late last year. That road is a done deal now. 99.9% completed. |

ochusdb:Delta state educational system cannot be isolated, it must operate within educational systems of Nigeria. In that regards, the government is doing very well in the provision of infrastructural facilities to improve the learning standard in our educational institutions across the state. Lots of schools have been renovated including the 6 technical colleges across the state. Health sector is not left out as it is getting its own share of attention to ensure that people get medical attention within their communities. There is no need building housing estate for those leaving in mansions. There is no way the houses when built will get to the needy. Peace and security is the most factor that attracts tourist to a particular location. Although, it is the responsibility of the Federal Government but the Governor has taken it upon himself to ensure that there is peace in the state. Due to his efforts, communities are no longer fighting; oil installations are no longer blown up; cases of kidnapping reduced and so on. It is crystal clear that Okowa has surpassed his predecessors in achievements in many fronts within the last three years. Therefore, there is no vacancy in Delta State Government House until 2023. Thank you. |

see how they are just facing urhobo when the pepo critizing okowa here r nt even deltans, d ethnic distrust in SS annoys me. well d way i see it i guess diff governors performed in diff areas, coupled with d fact dat deltans r tribalistic is the reason for des mixed opinions. from my own side o, i dont think okowa tried at all, he is busy doing roads, how can an oil state like delta be doing inner state roads and SmaMedSc business as your only projects for 4 years, they say uduagan didnt try but he renovated over 100 public schools, roads in warri, did 2 standard hospitals, did asaba international airport, briefly brought brt, flyover in asaba n warri, brought shoprite, an uncompleted oleri n ogwashuku aquatic n wildlife park which okowa could not continue, not to mention prposed warri industrial park, free education n health care, the only bad thing i remember from uduaghan regime is dah shell left warri(though i heard okowa has brought dem back, e do well) wat ibori did dat urhobo pepo r hyping o, i cant remember. maybe uduaghan was useless in other places but in warri his work was felt. okowa sef im not seeing his handwork, an oil state should ve beta projects dan inter town roads. In all though, all delta state governors have messed up for allowing selfishness n tribal n political sentiments prevent good governance |

DogmaNation:You people are going to receive your recompense for this lie. Okowa is the worst governor since the Inception of Delta state. I have lived in warri most part of my life and I still reside in Delta state as of present. If you open your mouth to recant this then I want to challenge you to meet me up and show me all the beautiful things he has done. Iam waiting for you to pick this challenge so you can physically show me these beautiful projects. The kind of shameless attributes these present day praise singers possess is shocking! Seeing the truth and still having the effrontery and lack of conscience to say otherwise instead of keeping ur mouth shut and enjoying ur ill-gotten largesse Cc: Kevoh |

kevoh:Don't mind all these bloody sycophants. I passed that road recently and I just pitied my colleague's car. It was so terrible. Those citing that the road is a federal road should borrow global sense. What stops okowa from fixing the road? Lagos state did it during fashola era ND the federal government refunded them. So people should suffer and die and the state should stand and watch because it is a federal road. We need deliverance in this nation |
