i got my PCC yesterday, thanks to the person who posted mr gbenga's number. he made it mighty easy for us. he met up with us at a place close to our house on the 1st of nov, took our finger print, passport and photocopies of our international PP, and brought it close to our place yesterday. So it was almost home-delivered . he collected 10k and saved us loads of stress.

Please obtain a WAEC or NECO scratch card and send it to WES by postal mail. You must include your WES reference number on the scratch card.

WES just added the quoted requirement as part of the things to be sent for evaluation.

Since I expressed my frustration here, I think it will be out of place if I refuse to update when there is a new development.

So, I got the contact of my department's exam officer who happened to be my supervisor then. After all explanations and expression of deep frustration, she printed my transcript and ordered me to send someone to make the necessary payment to her asap.

Now, transcript is already printed at the department, waiting to be moved to Student's Affairs for onward transfer to WES when school is reopened.

Note that the exam officer offered this help while LAUTECH is under lock and key due to the school fee increment protest (guess she smuggled herself into the school despite the lockdown).

Hopefully, my transcript will be on it way to WES by next week.

Frustration seems reduced by half.

Elo, this is wat i did, my certificate isn't ready yet i only have my statement of result. When i applied for certificate it wasn't ready but i was given a letter of certificate/notification attached with photocopy of statement of result both stamped and signed by the HOD exams and record which i attached with the ICES request form for my school to sent it alongside my transcript to ICES. I also scanned the letter for certificate/notification with the photocopy of statement of result signed and stamp with the original coloured scan copy of my statement of result which i uploaded on the certificate column one after the other in ICES website. I also did uploaded a student copy transcript issued to me on the transcript column.

This idea i applied was gotten from one off us here who wrote to ICES in respect to same issues not having certificate ready yet rather he sent the certificate/notification letter to ICES to review and they accepted it can serve in lieu to the certificate. Although i went extra length to make sure my school sent it to ICES with my transcript.

If ur spouse's school hasn't sent the transcript yet, u can rush back and ask for certificate/notification letter to cover the certificate not yet ready.

On this same thread, some once "quoted" me that the sister or so uploaded her statement of result and ECA report was issued to her, let's hope for good.

Still at IP1 with ADR being reviewed while they're saying they haven't received my biometrics which I know is automated since it started saying

Let's look for a way to be proactive here. If you are going to send scratch card to them, we should do it in groups of 5 or 10 people and share that courier cost.

1 volunteer can buy for 10pple, write the name and ref appropriately on each card, write up a manifest of the total cards containing the names of the owners, envelope it and send.

The total fee incurred will be shared equally and the tracking ID sent to those concerned.

I'd paid WES before getting to know how tedious the process is. I've been on it for a while.

I just checked the documents required for evaluation, for other neighbouring African countries and those not close by.

WAEC is a Nigerian only requirement. So we are the only ones being punished by WES.

I paid WES too, and I paid ICES. ICES delivered, WES is lagging. Although I haven't asked for refund from WES because I may need their evaluation in Canada. I'd advise you do the same, especially if your CRS score is BELOW 445. Why 445, you ponder? This is November, the remaining draws for this year is maybe 5 (optimistically), early next year may see draws in the ≥445 range because many would be concluding their 1 year diploma and other point boosting ways they engaged. This forum sef, people are aiming to have gotten higher points through 2 or more certificates early next year.
444 may be the new 440 next year. Make hay while the sun shines, ICES evaluation usually takes 5 weeks. Penny wise, pound foolish.

To add to the information above, I mailed my M.sc statement of result to ICES and my school only mailed my transcript. ECA came out positive few days ago. Just sharing my personal experience.

You'll then proceed to the physical exam table. You'll be given another changing gown to UnCloth down to to your undies If it's a male doc and you're female, he'll ask if you want a female nurse to be present. After all the tickling acrobatics, you're left to dress up. You'll then proceed back to the waiting area while the doc examines your x-ray. The doc comes back to call you in again and tell you to go as everything is all clear and your results will be uploaded in 2-3 working days.

This has got to be the craziest part of the whole process!!!... how could they ask you to stripe to undies in front of a male Doctor? Nurse available or not this is unfair!. IoM should have make provisions for male Doctors to take care of men and Female Doc for females.

Abuja Clinic definately wasn't like that. Someone that visited IoM Abuja last year requested for a Female and she was granted.

You got the story wrong o. I was given a gown to change into. the exam table is secluded. you are on your on doing the changing. They ask if you need a femal present when the exam starts. Cos they gas press your organs to be sure no pain (probably pain is evidence you gat problems there Internal organs o! ehe.

They take your picture right there with a camera connected to the system. So they dont even request for the one you came with.
